[It's quiet for a moment as the person making the request isn't completely sure how to say what he wants; he's used to staying to the shadows and working from there, so reaching out so publicly goes against most of his training. Still, he has questions, and it's not like his enemies from home can find him here. ...Probably. So he concentrates, stilling himself and throwing a casual tone into his voice that he's not actually feeling considering he just wound up on a world he's never heard of. His day had already been going weird, but this is the icing on the cake of crazy.]

So I'm looking for some people, and I was wondering if any of them are here or if anyone's seen them. Steve, Sam, uh- Scott. And Wanda. We were kind of all together back home and if I'm here, maybe they are, too, so if they are I want to track them down again. See if we can figure out what's going on, that kind of thing. If you know them, can you tell them I'm looking for them?

[The choice to leave out their last names is deliberate, but except for Scott they are his friends, some of the people closest to him in his life. And a group like that, first names are really all that's important, other details can wait.]

[But whoops, he forgot something. And this time he will use a surname.]

[He's interrupted in signing off by a bark off to the side. There's another brief pause, and then Clint speaks up again with a bit more confusion in his voice.]

Did anyone in, uh, Heropa lose a dog? I've had this guy following me around for at least half an hour now, looks like some kind of chocolate lab mix and he seems like he's been trained but he isn't wearing a collar. Do you think I have hamburgers or something?

[Thought Clint's broadcast was in audio, Wanda replies with a video -- and locked. There are people from their world here, but none she's really close to, and she doesn't think they're caught up to her in terms of timeline stuff. But it sounds like Clint is.

Why is her reply locked? She hasn't said really a damn word to anyone here about what happened back home, at least not what happened at the Raft and shit. She'd briefly been ported out about three months ago, and came back to this world having lived another thirteen months at home. She's been been able to pretend like Everything Is Totally Fine in her outside demeanour. Internally, that's another thing entirely.]

Where are you? [It's a simple question, but she needs to catch up with him now.] I'll come to you.

[Not that he knows what he's doing with this, yet at least (give him a couple hours and he'll have this device figured out), but it's impossible to miss the sudden video response. It's even more impossible to miss the face in said video.]

Wanda! [Holy crap she's okay. She'd been a mess last he'd seen her, almost broken and he'd nearly killed a couple guys for that because you do not treat his kids that way, and he'd been more worried about her than anyone else because of it. But she's there, and without that expression on her face that kind of made him wonder if she'd ever be coming out of her hole, and while that's great that's also kind of worrying.] I just got here, that soldier dropped me off in town, what the hell is going on?

Steve Rogers was here, some months ago. But he was ported out. Wanda is here currently.

[ Odd, though, how he hadn't asked about the others. And Raina takes it upon herself to answer that for him. While she is technically from his world, he wouldn't know her. But she knows all about him and the Avengers. It's impossible not to. ]

Bruce Banner and Tony Stark may also be names that mean something to you. I'm certain they will be in touch as soon as they see this.

[Well that's definitely someone from home. He was never the most prominent Avenger - least prominent, when you took into account how in the center of it Nat got after taking down S.H.I.E.L.D. a couple years back - but his name was still out there after the Battle of New York and especially after all the HYDRA stuff. He's not thrilled that someone knows so much about him, but it does come with the job.]

All of them, huh? Weird that they grabbed so many of us, however they did it.

[He's seen way too many scenes of engineering and SCIENCE! going on in his life to be surprised at another one. He's just glad the woman's wearing goggles while she does her SCIENCE!]

[That accent is unmistakable, even though Nat long ago had hers trained out of her. He's pulled enough assignments in the former Soviet states to know a Russian accent when he hears one, even a good number of the variations. And considering what he's heard about the state of this world, this guy probably hasn't had it easy since showing up.]

I might if he won't go home. Think he may have slipped through a fence or something. [There's kind of a storm of barking at that, as if the dog is agreeing with the assessment or asking to play. For the moment, Clint is ignoring that, because one thing at a time.] Not from here, are you?

[Because he's basically adopted her. It's a long story, maybe you'll hear it later.]

They all do, but since we were all in a group together I was hoping we'd all get here together. Looks like I was wrong about that.

[There's a quick sigh; his reasoning is sound, but the reality is that that hope is dashed. Wanda's there, Steve's been and gone, no one's said anything about Sam or Scott - obviously whatever had happened hadn't happened consistently. So now it's time to adapt and move on.]

[ Bruce expects about two of those names, and they're only half of the names he'd think Clint would bring up. So while he's at first glad to see a familiar face, he's immediately intrigued when Clint gets to that part. ]

I know Wanda's around. I, uh... assume you're from farther ahead in the timeline, like her?

[ He says that in a light tone, but it's obvious he's somewhat worried. Why wouldn't Clint mention Natasha? Or Tony, Thor, even Bruce himself? But he stops before getting too ahead of himself— there's a Tony from an alternate reality here, after all, so for all Bruce knows, that's the same with Clint. ]

And I'm here too, evidently. Even if you didn't ask for me.

[Now that is someone he hadn't expected to hear from. At all. Banner's been gone for a year from the point he came from, and while Fury and Nat (and Tony he assumes) had tried to find him, Clint hadn't jumped on that party. Not just because he'd retired, but because if Bruce had ran like he had, it'd been for a reason. And he'd never intentionally hurt someone. So why chase after him when he made it unintentionally clear that he wanted to be left alone?]

[ Oh look, it's that spider-kid Iron Man recruited. Except... he looks a little bulkier? Not by a lot, but a little broader around the shoulders. His costume looks subtly different--colors a little bolder, the lines of webbing and the shape of the lenses tweaked.

His voice is a little deeper and a lot more confident, too. ]

Pretty sure I can't help you much with the people, either. I recognize the names, but I'm getting the distinct impression the ones I know aren't the ones you know. And as for the ones who've been here recently, who knows?

Yeah, so that was probably unnecessarily confusing. You'll get used to it. Hi, I'm Spider-Man; have we met in your universe?

[Confusing, but he managed to follow most of it. Clint actually never heard Peter's voice except garbled through the earpieces of other people close enough to fight him, but that suit is a dead giveaway. It's easy for him to spot the differences, especially in body size and shape. Not like that thing hides much of Peter's musculature, after all.]

...We ran into each other a few days ago. Not for long, though. I think you're a lot younger back home.
