I'm looking for individuals to lend their voices to navigational technology.
Any genders capable of speaking clearly and maintaining a calm, professional tone. Particularly interested in multilingual individuals. This is temporary paid work.
If interested, please respond using the audio function or upload a voice sample.

[ooc: feel free to link a character clip or provide a description!]

VOICE.
[ His tone is so calm it's practically deadpan, which... well, may or may not be appropriate, really. ]
Uh, but... I speak both Spanish and English, if that'd be of any use to you. And even if it is you don't really have to pay me anything.
( OOC: While the clip is about what he sounds like, Pablo's voice more consistently maintains that sort of level monotone the entire time he speaks (always). )
permavoice;
Is Spanish a native tongue for you?

He answers first in English, but it's a bit hesitant. He's still learning, after all.]
I speak Japanese.

A clip would be linked here, but the only things that popped up right away were all fight scenes...]no subject

I am fluent in English and Spanish, should you still require the assistance.

Your English has a nice, even inflection. How is your Spanish?

I can speak English and Mandarin Chinese fluently.
[ Catherine's voice already sounds, naturally, like a calm, patient, faintly cheerful sort of A.I. companion. Only the patience is an illusion. She's spent a lot of time as an exposition device and it shows in her tone. ]

[She's perfect]
Let's try an audio sample in Mandarin directing someone to stop due to an obstacle in their path.

Are there already enough English speakers volunteering? What sort of navigational technology are you working on?
no subject
This is a project for a new product that's meant to better assist the blind or visually impaired with safely and independently navigating their surroundings.
[Hm, that's a half-decent line. Write that down really quick as a reference for the presentation he may or may not need to give. Or even just a product description..]

If you still need people, I've got American English, Russian, and German under my belt. Pretty good at French and Italian, too. And ASL but that doesn't help with speaking.
[His voice is pretty casual, with the very slightest Midwestern lilt buried right at the bottom of it and only noticeable to someone like Henry Higgens from My Fair Lady. To anyone else he sounds pretty bog-standard American.]

And actually, my.. fiance is interested in learning ASL. We could also hire you to teach him if you think you'd be suited to it?

[Mako is clear and polite, as always, though she does have a Japanese accent. Familiar though she might be with him, she offers her assistance without hesitation. As is appropriate, she leaves a slight pause before speaking.]
Please exit to your left in 0.3 miles, your destination will be on your left.
[As promised, she says the phrase both in her native Japanese, which is as soft as her English, and unfailingly polite. There is a long pause before she speaks again.]
I hope you find this acceptable.
voice
[Her voice is a bit too soft, but he's not going to say as much to the Marshal's daughter. They could probably work with it]
