Well, I'm me, aren't I? I make a living running headfirst into problems, someone usually gets hurt when those things get sorted.

And you just so happen to be acquainted with several people who certainly wouldn't mind going on damage control to prevent such damage from happening in the first place or, if that does not seem to be possible, to be present at the moment that another becomes injured. I understand that you are being purposefully vague, but might I suggest seeking help for solving the problem in addition to seeking help for its conclusion?
