does anyone know how to deregister?

I don't mean I want to turn vigilante, or go the other way. And I don't want to go AWOL. I know about those. I just made a mistake, I know that now. I made a mistake and I want to undo it.

there has to be a form to fill out. something.

Please. Anything could help.

Back in February, the Soviet Union occupied the imPort cities. They used a porter of their own to control us. It wasn't a good time.

Debrecen was the city in the Soviet Union where the porter had been researched. At the start of March, the United States army destroyed it. Not just military targets, but civilians . . . everyone.

A lot of people died. They said the casualties were in the thousands.

There was a lot that happened. The Soviets don't like imPorts at all. America wants us to be heroes, but heroes are still people. The USSR believes we're weapons.

Weapons aren't people. They aren't things you have to treat like people.

But for America to cause that many civilian deaths . . . no one was okay with it. More than a protest, I think it was a way to say 'we're not enemies, but I can't stand with you'.

I don't know. If you look back on the network, you'll probably be able to find it though. The first of March, 2016.

The number of people who really did it is probably only something the government knows. Especially with people being ported out. But nothing like Debrecen has happened since.

Nothing has really happened at all since then. For a war, it's been really quiet.

I hope so. I don't really know enough about this kind of thing to say.

There haven't been more bombings. Not that we know of.
But there hasn't been anyone talking about peace, either.

I don't know. I talk about it.
The occupation in February, too. And the kidnappings in January.

But a lot of people who were here then have been ported out now. And it was half a year ago
so sometimes I don't think it comes up until people ask
or until someone's reminded of it.

It is.

I know what's happened while I've been here, but I don't know much about what happened before I was ported in either.

Maybe
it's something worth talking about.

There's been people before who have been historians. Kind of. Not for world history
for our history
for the things we've found out.
I've seen some of their posts, especially on the mirrornet.

I haven't seen any of those people still here in person, but

if it's something you care about

would you consider it, maybe?

Right.

I think other people would help if you asked, too. We might just know little pieces alone, but there's probably a really big picture if it's all together.

It's the kind of thing you could still do without anyone knowing who you were, if you wanted. Or something anyone who read this could do too.

The mirrornet is good for that.
