does anyone know how to deregister?

I don't mean I want to turn vigilante, or go the other way. And I don't want to go AWOL. I know about those. I just made a mistake, I know that now. I made a mistake and I want to undo it.

there has to be a form to fill out. something.



Please. Anything could help.

It's pretty hard to tell what is the right thing and isn't. It's something you need to find out by yourself, in the end.

I don't know what is better.

I don't understnad why it matters so much I guess. If it helps us that's one thing. But there are people here who were born here and now they have powers too and they don't have to register. Right?

Well, the government still hasn't addressed that. Not that they had much time to, but they will eventually decide what to do.

Maybe those people will be given the choice to register too.

So then they'd live like us?

I wonder what thwat would be like. We're so different

We are. And the biggest difference is that they aren't aliens, while imPorts are. it's true that the government didn't have any decision regarding bringing us here, but the natives have always been here.

So I don't think it'll be exactly like us.

but they'll have to live like us if they have to register. Or do you think theyll le tthem live where they are now?

Either way i guess it just doesn't sound very fair to me. People won't be happy.

What does it mean "living like us", to you?

Unhappy people will exist always regardless of the decision, I think.

Government apartments, and jobs, and

I don't know. The files? Do you think they'll get files too? There has to be a list of us so I guess they'd be on the list too. And they'd get the money the same way we do. And if they make them register I guess they have to make it worth their while.

If they already have homes and jobs, they wouldn't need to be put in apartments of given another job. The government gives those to us in order to integrate us in this society (which they can certainly offer the natives heroes as perks, too, of course) but naturally you can leave them and find your own thing. Maybe they will give them money for registering - we are, too. But what I mean is that, it doesn't feel like a huge difference.

But they will probably get files, if only because I think the government will want a way to tell who is who and what they're capable of. I don't think they'll be so willing to let that go.

If they want to inigrate us why do we have to live in our own housing and stuff to start with? Why are we so separate?

And if someone out there gets powers, someone normal, who liveshere, and they don't want to register I wonder if they'll let them.I guess it isn't worth anything to just speculate but I keep thinking about it.

What does registering really mean, anyways?

I think it's a to "show-off" . In order to show the natives they have support from Heroes, in order to show the world imPorts support them - even if not all. Like this, the natives will be excited and happy to have us, and not see us as the aliens we are, who have a lot of benefits which some people would complain about.

But won't they see it that way now that people juist like them get special powers and stuff too?

Technically the government still uses us to show off. They just have more support than before, from their own people too.

But that's what I mean.

If they have their own people who can do the kind of stuff that we can--not exactly the same stuff I guess, the new powers aren't a good, maybe--but once people see that it's special but not that special

I don't know. I think it's too easy to play favorites. The government is going to like not totally needing us. Maybe.

It's not about being special but support and power.

With their own people registered, they say that their own people support them but they are also strong and super-powerful.
With us registered, they are saying that even people from other worlds support them and see their cause. Who are also strong and super-powerful.

It gives the rest of the world a sense that their cause is the right one, and also that they have power.

But that would work better if we were choosing to be here. I think.

It would. But they give us the choice to register or not, so there is still a small choice in this. [ except for Sasaki who has no choice, but that's because of some other issues ]

I don't know. i think it's all going to start feeling really unfair really quickly. I'm a little bit scared of that too.

I think it's unfair for both sides, regardless.

No kidding. I just wonder who's going to decide theyve got it worse.

By what they do to us, you mean? Maybe. But maybe not. I guess there's no point in speculating. We just have to see what happens.
