[This is a really...odd question to ask. And Kaneda knows it. But something's been on his mind as of late, especially with his new job working out the way it is. Boredom begets creativity, and thus the feed opens up to our favourite biker teen sitting at his desk in Neo Tokyo, sliding back and forth on his rolling stool as he plays with a thumbtack.

[You have his attention.] Kaiju exist in your world too? Like Makocchi?

[He holds up that thumbtack again and pushes it in just a bit, wincing a little as he pulls it out again. When showing his finger, there's almost nothing there.]

And yeah, Kaiju exist! Existed! We sent those fuckers back to their own dimension. They also totally exist in this world, too, but smaller and way cooler because THIS KAIJU's not controlled by some Precursor bullshit trying to plow through the universe for resources and because he's kind of rockstar, but [Turns his arms to show off the guys on his forearms.] Yamarashi was one of the largest Cat 3s to emerge from the Breach. Atticon was amazingly well-armored--

God, they were amazing. I need to get a tattoo of Otachi and the baby.

[He watches the demo, pushes his glasses properly up his nose, and observes closely.]

Is it all sharp objects or only narrow points? Would a slice be equally ineffective?

[So anyway about that Kaiju]

Sweet! Indestructible is cool.

And uh, yeah, sort of. First we made big mobile suits fight the Kaiju--because literally punching them ourselves wasn't going to be enough...they were MASSIVE--then blew up their portal between dimensions with a nuke.

[Not entirely indestructible, but there's no way Kaneda's going to say he's got his weak spots on the network. He'll agree with you on that one, Newt.]
