So. This has been a long couple of days. [The look on his face screams 'I am just so done' so much that he doesn't even have to say it explicitly] Any recommendations for a good bar around Nonah? I got a lot of sorrows to drown and not enough booze to keep me going.

[See, now, he doesn't need deets on what's going down, he gets the gist from the other posts he's checked in on and what his little handy welcome pack told him, he pretty much has that down. As insane that it is. What he doesn't have is a good reliable watering hole and that just isn't right. No man should go days, hours or minutes without one.]

If I spend any more time sober, I might actually start reassessing my life and my choices and I don't have time for that kind of shit. So just help a guy out here. I don't mind if I got to pay a little extra for a good drink but I'm not exactly flushed with cash here so let's not go nuts and send me to like the ritziest place in town. Okay? Reasonable. Prices.

[Wait, he should really clarify here because when it comes to finding a bar, you can never be too specific in your wants.]

Just don't direct me to some dive where they water down the drinks or I will come down on you like the hand of God and smite your ass because seriously, don't waste my time or my money. That shit ain't cute and I will come at you. Sensible suggestions only.

[There's a long pause before he adds:]

While we're on the subject of things I need, I got one more request. I need someone who's good with this thing right here. [He means the device, he even gives it a little shake to just display what he means.] I got a few questions.

You know, plenty of folks keep bringing that place up and I'm not too sure it's for a good reason.

Nothing I like more than a bunch of drinkers, they always know what's what. I can get behind that. [He smiles slightly.] You got a name, helpful drink lady?

Nah, you can never be too paranoid, I'm right there with you. Burners don't seem like a bad idea. I was already debating that one. These things are pretty cool, don't get me wrong. Gadgets like this? They're pretty handy but they're given to you. Just like that. Nah, man, nah. That's a trap.

[He's a touch paranoid too but he thinks that's a reasonable thing, circumstances and all.]

[ It probably doesn't hurt that Deadshot is also asking questions that are actually useful, compared to Diablo, who can't muster up the motivation to care enough about that sort of caution. ]

There's a bar in downtown Nonah I like.

I'm working on a smoother and quieter car engine.

I'm of the same mind. The government tends to bend their own rules when it suits them. I don't like that.

[ Because he prefers to do the bending of rules and the watching. Not when it's done to him. ]

There is little harm in playing by their rules where they can see.

All of Maurtia Falls is the dodgy side of town. It's like Mos Eisley became an entire city, and just like Mos Eisley they don't appreciate newbies or folk that aren't exactly like them. Because, congrats by the way, being an imPort is the coolest new minority to be, doesn't matter if people love or hate us, they all got an opinion on it.

[And a few seconds later there's a text list of various bars, the first few marked out as "Best bars to get punched in the face" and later ones coming with amendments for best whiskeys, beers and even useful info like "has strippers". Jeff is very thorough with his bar knowledge.]

I know of quite a few bars in Nonah -- but before you consider me a lush... you may wish to clarify the type of bar you want. Do you want a dive, or mid-range?

[ Just. Just look at him, Floyd. Whichever way you go, it's probably out of your price-range. ]

What is your "scene"?

[It's weird but you know, he also thought that douche top knot haircut was pretty fucking weird to. He adapted to that, he can adapt to this. Though this is considerably less annoying and baffling.]

So when you run that bar of yours, I assume you ain't in cat form when you do it?

Sounds to me like you get forced into registering, which I don't like much. See, it bothers me more when you get the illusion of choice, you know? Like they want to force me to registered, then do it. Don't say 'well, you don't have to but if you kind of do if you want to live comfortably and travel'. That's all kinds of bullshit right there. Be honest if you want people to do stuff, don't blackmail them.

[He's ranting but hey, he has a lot of government issues. They'd have a long and troublesome relationship. If they were on facebook together, their statues would definitely be set as 'it's complicated'.]

So this record is like what? They keep tabs on you?

This place is weird all over, there seems to be a lot of tension about where you live and where you come from. The import stuff and the government. Speaking of which, we gotta be more careful. I learned a few tricks from these guys, we're going to have to talk about how we use these things in future. [He moves the phone a little to show what he's talking about.] The government is all over this shit, I bet you anything. They know all about your shoe queries, man. And I know that ain't nothing to get flustered over but it's a dodgy road to go down. I think me and you should work out a more private way to talk.

[He already picked up a few tricks, he'll show Diablo next time they're together. Yes, Floyd was paranoid but after meeting Amanda Waller and getting a bomb in his neck, he kind of thinks he's justified. A lot of his info should be need to know only.]

Look, man, you're pretty all right and I like you plenty fine but I ain't never picking you over any women. I got about three offers and I'm turning none of them down. [He's slowly working on a forth too. He's having a ball here already.] I'm saying, I got some down time, you know? We can check out the dodgier places. The place you wouldn't take a date.

I don't have much faith in any government, I think anyone who does is a little cracked. I'm just going to keep my guard up, be smart.

I guess you just have to learn to bluff and play along when you have to.

A good bar somewhere that isn't a hot bed for all these import issues.

Also, I don't know, I'm feeling like mixing up my scene. Thinking of checking out a tiki bar this weekend. Maybe that'll be my scene.

That's a lot of names you got there, Sadie. Fancy, I like it. So you're a Mrs? [He tuts.] That's a damn shame.

That right there sounds like a smart idea. Though I gotta say, I do love how my baby purrs.

Though I gotta say, I don't think it makes you a lush. I think we all appreciate a good drink from time to time.

Ah, the words of either someone who never worries about excess, or someone who should worry about it.

[ A pause, and then he leaned forward. ]

There's a rather nice hold in the wall, near downtown Nonah. If you head past the Charles E. Cheddar establishment on Main, and across from the line of small bistros, there's a stairway.

Rather excellent wines, and... beers. [ He says beer like it's a slur. ]
