Those of you from an alternate Earth, what similarities or differences have you noticed between this world and yours? Specifically, I'm looking to pinpoint where a great deal of our common ground lies, and if there's a trend where most timelines appear to diverge. Discussion encouraged.
As well, if there are any research institutions with room for a theoretical physicist and biologist interested in solving the mysteries of this world, please do get in touch.

Well I appreciate your response.

It's good to practise the typing and I like reading a lot since I learned. Thank you for being patient. I'm Margaux! If you ever would like to talk again. I don't know what the research you talked about is but I'm interested in learning about mysteries.
:)

I'm not testing any particular theory at the moment, but this world does lend itself to a great deal of mysteries.

Yes.. We generally prefer to keep it that way.
Well, I'm not an expert on this world in particular, but I've been here for over a year now. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

( she might, like, leave him some voice mails, though. or take a typewriting class. )
Before I forget, though, I think that the place where my world stopped looking like this one would be sort of the equivalent of now. Except some of the broken things look different even from being broken? The vehicles here are different than the ones left in the cities.

Or if you'd prefer, we could discuss it in person to allow you time for questions and such.
I can attempt a summary if you're not interested in a detailed history lesson, but I can't promise anything there.

:)
What would be convenient for you? I have a very open schedule all of a sudden due to not being in France any more.

Any reasonable time will work. It's easiest for me to get around De Chima, but I can use the porters if necessary.
Also to note, I'm not incredibly familiar with how this world's version of the war has progressed. With imports and different technologies, it's certainly off track of the one most seem to be familiar with. But I can tell you what I've observed of it of course.

Of course. I appreciate the time and getting your perspective.

( aw yeah she's nailing this meet new people thing. and they all so far smell ok, which is great. )
is this something you wanna log?
Yes all right, I'll meet you there then. If you're looking for me, I'll have a slim laptop on the table.
[The telltale sign of a modern import- sleek tech]
yes please! i can set up a log ?
( this is a fact. )
go for it!
