They're actually making texting kind of hard, but it's better than video or audio right now. He's not letting this freak show go on display in front of the entire network. [ UUUGGGHNNNGHLASFJK Kyle is rubbing his face with both hands (keeping his claws AWAY from anything delicate, like his bright burning eyes). How can he put this in words? They know he's not human, but it was fine because he looked normal. Now his inside matches his outside, and boy is Kyle upset about this. ]

[And it is soon—not more than five or six minutes, really. The familiar cloud of purple and white stardust shimmers in the air just before Inanna's form solidifies from the midst of it, complete with a pair of very dark sunglasses that they're holding out to him before they're completely solid.]

[ As soon as Kyle can get his hands around the sun glasses, he does so. He's careful of his long black claws that've been impeding everything from sneezing to changing when he takes them from Inanna's hand. ]

[ He lifts his eyes from the ground for a second, and his blue irises are long gone. All that's left is a bright light, like two white hot coals. Even after he slips them on they can be seen right through the lenses, but at least it doesn't hurt so bad to stare right at them now.

Now the rest of him is hidden under a dark beanie, but it doesn't hide the obvious bumps protruding from his forehead. ]

[Inanna isn't sure what they'd expected. Claws, certainly, and something about his eyes? This is nothing like what they'd had in mind though.]

This is quite a change... Are you alright?

No. [ It comes out as a frustrated sigh, angry yet resigned. ] Look at me!

[ He holds up his hands to show Inanna the absurdity of it all. What can he do with hands like these but shred anything he tries touching? ]

I'm looking. I rather like your eyes, actually. [Of course it didn't hurt that Inanna was used to sporting the white-hot eyed look themself. Those claws though...]

Have you thought about trying animal nail clippers? They might be sturdy enough to help with your new claws.

[ Kyle accepts the compliment in silence. It certainly could be worse, but several of the administrators had winced while they processed him through a second time. Everything he is hurts people these days, just like his father said it would. ]

Like an animal. [ The groan that comes after is so damn dramatic you'd think Kyle had been a theater major all his life. ]
