You implied you knew of pokemon. Hmph. Lucky you, I'm feeling generous. A 'trainer' is one who trains pokemon, normally to battle against other pokemon. I own a number of particular dangerous ones that, because of my skill in training them, are safe to be around.

You own creatures that will fight for you. And call them weaklings.

I think they might not be the weak ones here.

The two that are missing are, but the rest are strong enough. But they need to get stronger still, even if they are the strongest of their species.

Pokemon aren't pets, and a pokemon that can't battle is worthless.
