the school year's barely begun and i've already landed in detention

i mean it is kinda my fault and at least the guidance counselor here is better than Mr. Frond was

And i just got 2 days tacked on for being caught on my device

so I guess my point is I'm full of all this frustration and aggression & I'm not used to feeling this way so how do i try and burn it off?

yeah, I've never gotten in a fistfight before. I'd be too worried about hurting the other person.

i kinda regret it since she and I ended up becoming frenemies. and she stole one of my notebooks of erotic fanfiction and used it to blackmail me

right. so I avoid fistfights at all costs.

well to be fair I didn't realize she'd stolen it til she pulled it out of her backpack at school the next day. and I can't punch someone at school

Probably best but you should learn some self defense.

What happened with that then? I mean I'm pretty sure I've punched people at school for lesser things...

It couldn't hurt. i probably won't be very good at it but I'll try.

well, Tammy ended up saying she was going to read my fanfiction aloud at lunch. so I wrote a new story and read it to the whole school myself to show that I wasn't ashamed of it. i did get laughed at but then Tammy farted really loudly so everyone laughed at her instead

I do. I feel like we could be good friends but she's more interested in competing with me. hasn't stopped me from trying, though, and we have worked together a few times. and sometimes I snark right back at her.

well, sometimes I write stories about books and shows and movies I like. you know, I imagine what would happen if I was a part of the story and write about it.

At least you don't take her shit.
I'm still learning how to deal with healthy competition. It's not easy.

I think it helps a lot that my mom and dad set a good example for me. they can get competitive and sometimes they go a little bit crazy, but they always stop before they get too far.

They are. i'm lucky to have them.

I've had a few people offer to help me improve! the biggest thing right now is learning to make up my own characters, because I usually use people I know but I guess not everyone would be comfortable with that
