the school year's barely begun and i've already landed in detention

i mean it is kinda my fault and at least the guidance counselor here is better than Mr. Frond was

so I guess my point is I'm full of all this frustration and aggression & I'm not used to feeling this way so how do i try and burn it off?

That is good. Many humans who don't have guardian figures for important times of their development can wind up being very troubled later on in life.

I'm finding that out. i have great parents, but not everyone does.

I'm realizing that it seems a large majority of people I know from my galaxy have a good amount of issues with their father figure.

Luckily, I don't have one.

Oh! that's true. my mom and dad built me. i look like a combination of both of them, so that's a nice way to look at it.

It's common for organics to think there isn't any kind of similarities between synthetics and themselves. But I haven't actually found any major differences outside of behavior regarding sexuality. We are built, think, have memories and experiences. I am, unfortunately, just as susceptible to forming attachments are you are.

see, in my time, we don't have droids as advanced as you are. that can think and feel and form attachments. robots are made to do work and do things that are too dangerous for humans to do. i had a robot that helped me go to school when i was injured- i controlled it with a joystick from home. but that's the extent of it.
