the school year's barely begun and i've already landed in detention

i mean it is kinda my fault and at least the guidance counselor here is better than Mr. Frond was

And i just got 2 days tacked on for being caught on my device

so I guess my point is I'm full of all this frustration and aggression & I'm not used to feeling this way so how do i try and burn it off?

I know part of it comes from having to work, too. if you're not careful and responsible in a restaurant it's easy to get hurt. but it's who I am, too. i've been the older sister as long as I can remember, so it comes naturally to me.

13 is kind of a weird age to be. i'm both responsible and not in some ways. a little grown up, but still a kid in some ways.

no kidding. i'm only starting to be aware of just how much work it takes to run a restaurant. besides all the cooking and cleaning and serving. i watched Mom balance the checkbook once and couldn't keep any of it straight

Yeah when i was living alone my hyung handled all of my money so i didnt have to worry about it.
I have to do it now and i dont really get it but i dont eat food anymore so its ok if i dont have money some months.

food is a big part of it for us. we have to eat on our own aside from providing what the restaurant needs. then there's fuel for the grill and oil for the deep fryer and so many other things

i don't know how they do it

yeah, and that's considering we only make burgers. there's an Italian restaurant across the street and he has a bigger menu than we do, so it's even worse

It can depend. We don't serve a whole lot of people, so I guess it's a bit easier, but the pizza place is busy a lot. ... busier than we are, but don't remind my dad.
