If someone lacks the good judgment to register and accept the government's handholding, where should they begin looking for a new job as an unsettled imPort?
[ As she pushes hair out of her face, it's plain to see that Lydia herself is registered. Who knew she had it in her to do things for other people. ]
I know there must be imPort-run businesses hiring, or some reasonably credible line of work that doesn't care about registration status. Skills include heavy lifting, aggressive driving, pain management, intimidation, animal handling, and ... Well, I'm sure there's something else he's good at.
[ She waves a hand dismissively. ]

[ She's looking intently at the screen which almost looks like staring intently into the camera. Almost. Flipping through her photostream nbd. ]
He never really smiles, so if I have one at all, it'll probably fit those requirements. I'm sure he could do the work of at least three bouncers.

[ great, raging biceps to draw the ravers. ]
Should I take you on your word for this?

[ She deliberately dodges the question, far more interested in the implications of it. ]

I can give you the benefit of the doubt.

Well, I appreciate it.
Luckily for you, you won't have to. He can come interview and you can see for yourself. Say ... Friday?

Tell him to put on his best suit, I'll see him after lunch.
