If someone lacks the good judgment to register and accept the government's handholding, where should they begin looking for a new job as an unsettled imPort?
[ As she pushes hair out of her face, it's plain to see that Lydia herself is registered. Who knew she had it in her to do things for other people. ]
I know there must be imPort-run businesses hiring, or some reasonably credible line of work that doesn't care about registration status. Skills include heavy lifting, aggressive driving, pain management, intimidation, animal handling, and ... Well, I'm sure there's something else he's good at.
[ She waves a hand dismissively. ]
We'll work out what he's a good fit for later. I'm really just looking for openings.
[ Mostly, she wants a medal for making it through this whole transmission without having to refer to Derek as 'a friend' or outing him for getting fired from his first job independent of his registration status. ]

Right. Yeah. Well, that's two against him. Think that's time for an intervention.

[speaking as someone that's been interventioned on, this is some real wisdom.]
But Jesus, you work fast.

[Even saying the word is a little-- well, it's not so bad, but it's not something he really enjoys, either.]
I mean, I wouldn't know how to go about that. It was kind of a joke.

Jesus, I'll just tell him myself, if I'm going to have t' cut off an arm to get you to do it. It's not worth that.

There's a homeless man sleeping on my couch. You get rid of my roommate problem, I'll help with yours.
[ She doesn't want to give Derek, Stiles, or Nick the satisfaction of knowing she needs help with it, ok. ]
voice.
'Get rid of' how. Hand him an eviction notice? I think that's something your landlord's best suited to help with. Or am I just expected to sit there and stare at him until he gets uncomfortable?
[That would actually probably work, depending, but come on.]

The thing is, I don't really like bein' told what to do.
[protesting is necessary, but this is a favor-for-favor even trade, so, fine. resigned, Mitchell sighs after a beat.]
What's he called.
voice.
[ A beat. She closes her eyes, pressed as fuck. ]
Yes, really. That's it. Breakdown. And the roommate who invited him in is called Knock-Out. They're probably part of some gang or — or drug ring. I don't know! I didn't ask.
[ So huffy rn!! ]
voice.
[Because seriously, what are those names.]
Jesus, it's going t' feel like going after Disney characters.
