[The video switches on, showing Mycroft looking as neutral as possible. He's in his room, doing his best not to show his distaste at shared quarters shine through. Mycroft even manages a polite smile, the expression not even reaching his eyes.]

Of all the places on this continent it had to be Florida. That will have to change, sharpish. I could argue it's the wrong country, but that's a debate I don't have the time to participate in. I'll have to just avoid the roadside food stands and hope for the best.

My name is Mycroft Holmes. I occupied a minor position in the British Government, so should anyone have questions along those lines then direct them to me. If I find them engaging enough, I'll answer them. As for the notion of "powers", I will have to accept what my eyes tell me regardless of how ridiculous it seems. I do hope some people here weren't lumbered with pointless ones, that would be cumbersome to deal with.

[No, really, why Florida? It's all hot weather and humidity. Ugh. Mycroft idly swings his umbrella, not used to having to introduce himself to others in this capacity.]

Yes. To see how long it takes for Sherlock to turn up and destroy something. I don't doubt for a second he'll get something that'll cause a riot.

Well, actually... [ john trails off, debating whether he should tell mycroft and the network or not. ] The last time he was here, he had some shadow type power. It let him phase through walls. Most of the time, he was relatively harmless.

[fraternalism]

Sherlock. The ability to go through walls. Harmless?

[What planet do you come from, John?]

Sometimes I wonder what goes through your head.

Well. Maybe not harmless for you.

[fraternalism]

Yes because Sherlock having unlimited access to anywhere in the world with walls isn't harmless. Before we know it he's liberated some smallpox sample from an American base and then we're all in for it.

Tsk.

... Right. Yeah, it could be a problem with a military base so close by. Nothing of that sort happened in the City though.

[fraternalism]

[If this was video Mycroft would be giving John the look. The one that states they both know Sherlock would be up to shenanigans and then some more with powers like that.]

Just a small problem. Either way, probability suggests when he turns up this time, whatever he has will be much worse.

[ john will keep him in line! ... maybe ]

If he turns up this time. We spent months here without seeing you at all.

[fraternalism]

[Mycroft will just have to hope he can throw the balance of probability at Sherlock and convince him to not be an asshole for once in his life.]

Of course. Why worry about it until it happens?

[Aka it's time to think of some contingency plans, just in case.]

It wasn't too long ago that you were shipping him off God-knows-where for six months. But if he turns up and doesn't use the network, I'll give you a ring.

[Right, yeah... Well at least he doesn't need to ask what John can remember.

And Mycroft appreciates the offer. It means a lot even if he won't ever say that out loud.]

I'll be sure to do the same if the roles are reversed.
