[ When Cisco appears on screen, he's idly spinning back and forth in his desk chair at his garage workshop in Heropa. The desks and tables in the background are cluttered with various half-built projects. ]
I have, through some self-reflection-- and yes, a little gentle prompting from friends-- come to the conclusion that I need a hobby. Bad.
[ Between running his own tech firm, working with the Justice League, and volunteering to provide IT Services to Iris' clinic... he's been a little stretched thin. ]
SO! I've decided to run a good, old fashioned tabletop RPG. This world doesn't have D&D or Pathfinder, but there's a game called Magic & Mayhem that seems to be pretty much the same thing. It's been a while since I DM'ed, but I'm sure I can pick it up again no problem. All I need is players.
So if anyone is interested in rolling some dice and going on some roleplay adventures, hit me up! You can make up your own characters, or there are character presets based on some imPorts available.
[ He includes a link. ]
Or, if you want to create a character from scratch but are having a hard time deciding what race or class you should be, try this survey! [ Another link. ]
I'm thinking weekend afternoons for runtime, probably starting at level 1 and working our way up to being a party of seasoned adventurers. Let me know if you have any questions, I'm open to first timers and old hats alike!

[ he appears on the video waving his hand in the air. it doesn't matter if he hits anyone, he's at the golf course of his import job. the background behind him looks pretty snazzy. ] Pick me! Pick me!

Are there going to be any lightning fast rounds?

But I might drop some boots of haste in a dungeon loot, give somebody a boost to their attack speed.

Sure! Anyone's welcome. It's basically a game where a bunch of players and me, the Dungeon Master-- or Game Master-- sit around a table and pretend to be other people while I craft an adventure for y'all to go on. In your minds.

Hey, you never know. This could be your chance to play a different sort of role. You're a healer, right? Play an offensive spellcaster instead!

Okay... Sure. I'll tell you whatever you want to know. It's a game, a fantasy roleplaying game based heavily on some classic fantasy book series and also mythology.

[He already has some idea what he's going to play, it's just that he was curious and he wanted to see how the quiz would go and he is offended, okay.]
You still got room for me and my friends, by the way? We haven't been able to play D&D in a while, and there's someone I wanna introduce to it.
[voice]
I take it you're one of Will's friends? Yeah, I can probably put together a group for you guys. Might have to shuffle everybody who's interested into two campaigns, I think just one would get a little crowded.

Not sure what kind of game it is, but I took the quiz for interests sake. Is "Neutral Good Human Ranger" a good thing? What does rolling dice have to do with a game like this?
Let's break down your result a bit. "Neutral Good" is your moral alignment. You're good, not evil, so you care about doing what's right. Neutral means you fall in between Lawful and Chaotic, meaning sometimes you'll follow the rules or a moral code, and other times you'll go against the grain. You do what's right, but you don't always care how you do it.
"Human" is your race. It's kind of the base race; humans are well suited to pretty much any type of character. "Ranger" means you're sort of outdoorsy, a good tracker, and you're suited to fighting either with a ranged weapon, or with dual wielding melee weapons.
Does that sound like you at all?

Not sure if I agree with the results, I received a Neutral Good Human Paladin?
Text
my apologies. next time I google for a character quiz, ill try to pick a shorter one. but at least its comprehensive?
its interesting. getting a lot of humans and a fair number of paladins. i guess that makes sense for a world where were pulled in to be superheroes basically.
paladins are usually lawful good. the fact that youre neutral good means that you know that following the letter of the law isnt always the best course or the best way to do good in the world. youre a bit of a rebel.

I got... Lawful Good Human Ranger?
[Voice]
Okay, so lawful good pretty much is self explanatory. You have a strict moral code and you follow it in service of what's right. Human means basically that you're well rounded and suited for whatever you put your mind to. Ranger means you're a little outdoorsy, good at following tracks, skilled with ranged weapons or dual wielding melee weapons.

It's a tabletop RPG-- roleplaying game. You make a character, and are led through an adventure, and you have to make choices as them.

Hells. Yes. Hells to the yes. I am in. Though, admittedly, I've only played once before, so I'm probably gonna do a preset because I wouldn't know the first thing about making my own.
If you're sure? I always think making the character is half the fun, and I wouldn't mind working with you one-on-one on it. What sort of archetype are you interested in playing? Fighter? Healer? Spellcaster?
