[The woman that comes on the screen is a striking figure with her bright blue eyes, ornate jewelry, and pale blue skin. Life would probably be easier for Samara if she tried to hide how she looked, but she’s used to life not being easy.]

As a Justicar I am used to receiving an unusual amount of attention. [When she speaks there’s an almost unnatural amount of calmness in her voice.] Never quite so much though. It is strange to find myself in a place where humans have such little experience with races beyond their own. [The calmness extends to that statement, although some may be able to pick up just a tiny hint of interest in her voice. Samara is actually almost curious about the reactions she gets from people. In fact, she’s curious about the reactions she will continue to get from new people.]

Strange but certainly interesting. I have found myself unusually curious as to how people will continue to adapt to my presence. [Or if they will ever adapt at all. She pauses for a second as she lifts her arm to look at the area where the tattoo is located.]

I am afraid, however, that I cannot comply with this government’s request to register with them. I have sworn an oath already and it is not to anyone of this government. [Besides she highly doubts that their values and the Code’s values would align.] The housing is appreciated, as is the offer of employment, but I will find my own way. For four hundred years I have done so and I see no reason to stop now.

Many races where I'm from have discovered galactic travel. [The most recent were humans.] No, I'm afraid I have not heard of such a place.

Our race hasn't. [ Which is sad because he would love to see planets! Right after he gets done exploring all of Earth, ofc! ] Hmm.. and I am going to assume that you're well versed when it comes to things involving the universe. [ Translation: you probably know a lot of places. ]

Humans were the most recent addition to the galactic community. I am certain your time will come. [She nods.] I have traveled to places in Asari space that most do not even known of. More recently I have found myself traveling to planets far beyond Asari space.

I see. We have not discovered space travel yet. In fact, we are so behind in the times that our automobiles look ancient to the ones that I have seen here. These phones and our mental link to them are also surprising, as our phones required chords. [ Space travel is still super far for these people. ] I was mostly seeing if someone well-versed in travel could have heard of our civilization.

Your phones required chords? [She sounds almost amazed by that idea.] It is possible your civilization does not exist where I am from. Though, I suppose, it is equally possible that we simply have not found it.

Yes. Additionally, we do not have these televisions, or phones with screens, or movies, or even these digital record players. We have radio but that's about it. [ his world is just so behind it's not even funny. ] Unlike here, if you wished to have a procedure done, you would have to be in an operating room for hours and recovery could take weeks rather than how instantly it's done here.

In some ways. Having my first flight on an airplane was certainly exciting and I find myself fascinating with things like toasters. [ He pauses. ] But those are just details. The basic reason for my existence still remains the same: to protect and stand up for innocent lives and to defeat evil wherever it may lurk. As long as I am honing my skills, and dedicating myself to a life where generations after can exist in positive peace, I do not feel maladjusted.

My abilities include super strength, and alchemy which can rearrange the ground into artillery, spikes, shields, the like! I am also skilled in cross-country running, portraiture, and martial arts, most specifically boxing. If you need anything, do not hesitate to let me know! I would be willing to accompany you on your attempts to protect the innocent so you do not get in trouble for not being registered, as I am.

[ Legal protection is something Armstrong is willing to offer to someone who actually does good. ]

[Both her facial expression and the tone of her voice indicate that she means that.] I appreciate your offer, it's very generous of you. Perhaps, once I have had the chance to see more of this place, we could meet one another in person. [She paused for a second.] I am Samara.

[ His smile is warm. ] That sounds quite lovely! I then wish for you to get acquainted with the area quickly! Although, I cannot really say I myself know the ins and outs of Heropa.

It gave you an ability? [And a very strange one at that.]I was not aware it could do that. [She tilts her head to the right side.] I am afraid I am not located in Heropa. The place I was transported to is called De Chima. Though, I understand it's easy to get between these cities.

Indeed it did! By merely thinking about shirts, I can generate a new one! [ Armstrong spends a lot of time shirtless, so this is a rather cumbersome thing... to him and only him at least. ]

Yes! By going through the transporter you can move to and from city to city with no consequence. I have used this method before! It is quite fascinating and easy to learn, although, I remain in Heropa for the sake of my friends from home who are also located here. It's a bustling city so there's always plenty of people, which means there's plenty of people to be saved and aided!

That is quite convenient. Several of my comrades are in Heropa. [She pauses] I will have to visit it soon. [And another pause.] What other cities have you visited?

[ He nod as she continues her discussion. ] I have visited Mauritian Falls in Pennsylvania and the city of Denver, along with a bunch of assorted small towns, in Colorado!

I did enjoy my visits. My visit to Colorado was to rescue teen civilians and imPorts, so I couldn't enjoy or get a feel for the towns and cities themselves but they seemed peaceful. At the very least, the scenery is beautiful. [ Seriously, he has mad fucking props for the diversity. Amazing forests, beautiful snowy mountains, hot beaches, sandy deserts, etc. The only thing America lacks is a City of Gold as far as Armstrong is concerned. ] My visit to Maurtia Falls was quite enjoyable. It's a quaint town and it has a really intimate and cozy feel. I ended up in the less esteemed part of town, however. [ He stutters a bit. How does he explain he wasn't doing anything shady and was just helping out a friend? ] I was helping an acquaintance from home with some plumbing.

What did you have to rescue them from? [Was it injustice? This sounds like injustice and thus her entire focus is now on that.]

The innocent teenagers were being used as leverage to prevent the imPort teens from escaping. The imPorts were then forced to fight monsters for the sake of researching their powers and possible sale to third party nations who wish to acquire their own superheroes. [ Or, that's what Armstrong understands at least. ]

[Now she's almost sad she missed this. It seems like a situation that could have used a Justicar.] I assume they have been stopped?

[ Armstrong is sad she wasn't here for this too! They could've been back to back badasses as they took out cyborg bears! ]

Yes. They were stopped from experimenting further, but, to my understanding, a lot of the terrorist cell's members escaped. [ His voice, for a rare moment, gets solemn. ] There were some fatalities but only to the single digits. Considering how three school buses of children were abducted, this was quite the happy ending, especially since some of the deaths were revived because they were imPorts.

It is always good to try to be grateful for the small victories. [She frowns though, kids should not be treated that way.] I am sorry to hear of the fatalities. What progress has been made on tracking down those that escaped?
