How are they to blame for your transgressions?
[He might sound like he's being sarcastic, trying to incite anger or an argument, etc. - honestly, he legitimately doesn't understand how medication can have anything to do with a lack of control.]

They kept my powers in check. Helped me stabilize my intake. I stopped taking them and everything went haywire. Turned into a walking battery reaching its heat limit. And if you know what happens to overheated batteries, you can fill in the blanks yourself.
If I hadn't stop taking them, it wouldn't have happened. That's on me, not the meds.

Is it common to take medication in order to subdue such power? Such doesn't seem to be the case here.
