Friends from home helped uncover the truth, made me see it. Call it a change of heart on that one...

It was part of a greater conspiracy.

[People from home might realize just who this is by now, but as long as she remains largely anonymous it doesn't matter. They knew the truth anyway.]

A change in a way of thinking, in how I see the world. That's the best I've got.

If you can change the way someone sees their problems, it can change a lot of other things too. It made me want to live...It gave me something to live for.

What is it that you live for, in that case? Something beyond your own drive for survival, I'm assuming.

Myself. Not exactly a drive for survival, but valuing myself as someone that's here, someone that can make a difference.

I believe, in the end...that's what people need to live for. If I couldn't find value in myself, then why would I want to live just because of the value other people saw, you know?
