video.

[ Behold: Lestat, sprawled on a velvet couch in a leather jacket, head leaned casually on the arm rest. Visible from this selfie angle, discarded on his coffee table, is a laptop open to a word processor. He's deep in thought tonight. ]

Have you ever fallen in love? Have you ever been punched very hard in the face, or perhaps attacked by a pack of starving wolves? For those of you who've done both, would you say the experiences were at all comparable?

None taken.

Had I not seen several gods 'in the flesh' as it were, I'd still enjoy my freedom from faith.

The fact that their abilities have bordered on the mythological and divine.

I have seen things strange and unnatural. Like pulling up the stage curtain to see all the magic that makes the production. I've seen gods and men and monsters.

I do not believe in the gods, but they are real.

Not that curious. One can know a person and still not believe in them.

I suppose it's a bit of philosophical wordplay.

It's a question of faith.

I have no faith in the gods and thus I do not believe in them. They exist, they are real, I can physically call on them. But do I have faith in them? No.
