[ Sabrina is sat down on a couch, standard furnishings that come with all the Heropa townhouses. Her government-issues device is floating far enough away from her that it has to be held up by some sort of powers, it would definitely explain the green glow around the edges of the frame. She sits, cross-armed and cross-legged, her file on the couch cushion next to her, and...a yellow humanoid creature making vaguely threatening gestures at a man in deep sleep on the carpet. You might recognize the man as Itsuki, friendly neighborhood flesh-eating abomination.
She turns to face the naughty Hypno, saying nothing, but somehow convincing him to quit being a brat anyway. He stomps off, and she faces the camera again. She's gone over the literature several times, and found the beginner's guide from pouring over the network on her own, but still, it seems like it's customary to introduce yourself. It would be best to be polite while she gains her bearings, she thinks. ]
Hello. My name is Sabrina, I'm from the Kanto region. I was a Pokemon gym leader there, though it appears that holds no relevance or prestige in this world. [ Which bothers her, a lot, given how hard she worked to get that far. Back to square one, in an unfamiliar world, it seems. ]
Who are the leaders in this 'imPort' community? [ She says the word like a woman trying to be more sure of herself than she really is, she hasn't been here long enough to take that on as an identity, no matter how quick the crowds of photographers and fans are to label her as such. ] Officially and otherwise. I would like to meet them, get a better idea of how this works in practice, beyond the time-and-space meddling that's going on.

[Blue sure looks happy, if nothing else. He gives her one of his little trademark two-fingered salutes.] Me and Red're here... Oh, and a couple other losers from other regions.
[He glances down at the bottom of the feed for a minute.]
...Who's the guy?
no subject
[ Blue can be obnoxious, but he's from home. From all accounts, their world is very different from this one, so it's a relief to have people from there. He'll respect her for what she's actually done, instead of just her bad luck in being brought here, so that's good too. She's just as happy to see him. ]
Red told me. I ran into Nikolai on the way back. He was young.
[ She glances down...oh yeah. There's a head by her foot. ]
Must be my roommate. Hypno found him before I did.
no subject
[Blue shrugs it off easily... Oh, but Red just told her. He huffs.] --Oh, you ran into that loser already? Pfft, yeah, that little brat's a whole barrel of trouble, let me tell you all about it, sometime!
[He thinks he remembers her Hypno. Oh, yeah, that would explain it.] Heh, don't let him get a stomachache! I bet not all the dreams around here are all that tasty.
[He sees Alakazam, and Hypno...] Who else came with you? --Hey, Alakazam! [He waves cheerfully at the stoic Pokémon. Gee, seeing him makes Blue miss his own Alakazam...]
no subject
[ It's her job to listen to the concerns of young trainers, and she isn't going to stop just because she's here...but she's far more inclined to believe Red and Blue.
Alakazam waggles a spoon at him. That's as enthusiastic a hello as he's going to get. As for Hypno, he hasn't munched a dream he didn't like yet, she seems unconcerned. ]
Espeon and Woobat. They're getting themselves comfortable.

Where I'm from, there is a gym in every major city. We are community leaders, mentors, enforcers of Pokemon League rules and regulations.

Video- and because the TDM between them is canon iirc
This time here to be helpful, and not bitch out his entire cast.] Kaneki seems to be a leader in the community.

Thank you, Nikolai. Do you know him personally?
no subject
[It's more than 'good enough' if Nikolai's recommending it, and there's something in his tone that seems... respectful? of the man he's talking about.
He's a friend, but uh. Nikolai's not comfortable admitting that just yet.]

More importantly, what kind of Pokemon is that?
[ NAME! THAT! POKEMON! ]
no subject
[ Hypno can hear himself being talked about, so he jumps onto the couch next to her, disturbing her paperwork and twirling his pendulum around his finger. Sabrina, meanwhile, smiles kindly. ]
You know of them? This is a Hypno.
no subject
[ He peers into the camera, and... okay, this Pokemon's a little weirder. Sort of creepy? Sort of creepy. Still fuzzy, though, which is an improvement on most humans and possibly pet-able. ]
I'm not from a world with Pokemon. Which is too bad, 'cause every one I've met has been great. But I've met a bunch of them here! This is the first time I've seen one that looks like Hypno here, though. [ He flaps one hand at the screen. ] Opposable thumbs and all!

no subject
What does he do to make himself noteworthy?
Things are running smoothly in Kanto, thank you. From what I understand, they won't feel my absence.
no subject
he's part of (possibly leads? not up to date) RISE, which is a trustworthy organisation, and he's heavily involved in import affairs. the technical side, more than the political.
yeah

Can you expand on that?
Thanks for the beginners guide, by the way. It's been helpful.

As for our Ambassadors - I don't know Baal very well, But Gall and Padmé are very good at their jobs. Their are intelligent and fair, and they can see the big picture. It's always a pleasure talking to them.

I trust that you've already been made aware of the other trainers inhabiting this world.
Have you yet been given the beginner's guide to look over?
no subject
You mean the one put together by Ken Kaneki? I've read over it a couple times, now. Do you have anything to add?
no subject
He really is quite thorough in his research. I would point you in the direction of his notes should you be seeking an answer to any general question. Perhaps if you have something specific to ask, I could be of more help.

Prestige or not, a lot of people may still find that pretty impressive. You'd be surprised. [ People who love Pokemon, anyway, if for no other reason... ] I'm Baal. Ambassador for De Chima. I don't know if I can answer all your questions, but was there something you needed help with? Specifically.
no subject
Nice to meet you, Baal. I don't think I have any questions yet that the guide doesn't cover. I was actually going to ask you the same thing. I'm more suited to a community role, I believe, than the one I've been given.
[ It's retail. ]

[ He thinks he can tell where she's going with this, but it's okay; he smirks a little, eyebrow raising slightly. ]
So what would you rather be doing?
