reborningreen[A video opens, framing a man standing in the middle of what looks like an office, a green arrowhead on the wall behind him, and dressed all in an outfit of green, one that looks like something a modern Robin Hood might wear. His face looks tired, ragged, and yet whose face shows a grim determination.
As the video opens, he looks up at the camera and tries a smile. He takes a long breath, and then slowly speaks, his voice tired, and broken as if it has been recently stressed by, say, yelling.]
Hello. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Oliver Queen.
It is clear now, that in the last twenty-four hours, we have experienced the largest port-out of Imports to date. Friends and family, coworkers, lovers, and enemies, all have been taken away from us.
[His voice trembles as he speaks but he swallows and goes on.]
I do not know how many, save that the number is high. I do not know if this port-out is for good, or temporary or how it happened. I am going to try to look into this, and go see the government as well, and see if they have any ideas on what has happened.
[He pauses, and looks down, then back up at the camera. There is anger there in his gaze, and sorrow, both. But there is also a small smile, just barely there.]
If, like me, you lost people in this, I ask you to not lose hope, not give up. It may be a glitch in the matrix, so to speak, and until we know more, we should try to work toward finding them, and bringing them home. And in making sure that we take care of this world, and these cities, while they are gone.
[He steps forward then, and looks directly a the camera again, nodding.]
Stand together, help each other, and know you are not alone.
[And the video goes dark.]
