[Teddy's taken Hulkling form for this one; if his team are here, and they're using their identities for some reason, it's probably for the best he does the same. He smiles at the camera, perfectly cheerfully, although it might look a little incongruous with his massive frame and green skin.]

Hey, just wondering if anyone's got any news on some friends of mine. I don't even know if they're here, but it's worth asking, right? So if you hear of anyone calling themselves the Young Avengers, could you let me know, please?

[He clears his throat, and his face falls a little, looking slightly awkward and much more anxious. He's obviously worried, and trying not to show it. Then again, who wouldn't be worried if they didn't know where their boyfriend was?]

Or if you've seen anyone called Wiccan- he's about five foot eight, black hair, red cape, really cute, uses magic- could you tell him Hulkling's looking for him? Thank you.

[ALL HIS NEW FRIENDS ARE FIGHTING ON HERE NO BIG DEAL Hiccup's a little hesitant when he sees that explosion but he'll still offer his own welcoming.]

Uh — hey! You found your friends there. That's pretty great since it's usually pretty uncommon to find people you know around here. [He's had no luck with his own, so look at the group he's latched on to.] It looks like I actually know a lot of them so I just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Hiccup and, uh, welcome, I guess.

Oh, right. Hi, then. I'm Teddy, Hulkling's kind of the name I used to use in public.

[Did he say... Hiccup? It sounded like Hiccup. That is a very good distraction from how much of a mess all this became.]

Sorry about... well, everything. It should settle down pretty soon, though.

Hulking. You've got a real tough Viking name there actually. Sounds like the kind of nickname one of them would use to strike fear into their opponents.

[Like Hiccup, of course. AN ABSOLUTE THREATENING NAME.]

It's alright, though I think everyone can probably just sit down and talk all of this stuff out. I have no idea what's going on, but there's always a way to make peace.

That's... sort of why I picked it. And sort of not.

...Mind, after the drama explosion, Viking is a nice change.]

Maybe. There's some hurt feelings going around, so it probably depends on whether everyone's [read: Loki's... and okay, Teddy's] actually willing to talk about it. It'll work out, eventually, I think, though.

[You poor soul. Hiccup's certainly glad he's not at all involved in any of that mess, for sure.]

Well, hey. It'd be good to just ease out of the fighting a bit. I mean, you just got reunited with people you care about. Seems more like something to celebrate right now. Not everyone gets that luck.

I'm trying. Like I said, lots of hurt feelings, and not really much time on my side to get over them. But my boyfriend's here and safe, so that's good news. And if I had to be stuck in an alternate universe with anyone, Kate would be pretty much top of the list.

Ha. Kate seems like she's pretty smart and adaptable to most situations so I'd believe you on that point. She actually helped me out a lot when I first got here.

[Gave him the lowdown of the place, gave him advice on how not to piss off women, that kind of thing, etc.]

But, ah, your boyfriend — I'm glad you found him. My girlfriend's hopefully doing okay back home. She's ten times a better survivor than me though, so I'm not worried.

Don't tell her I said it, but she's probably one of the smartest ones of us. I mean, Billy's clever, and Loki's... Loki, but Kate's usually the one with the ideas.

[He looks apologetic and concerned. Sorry, dude, he didn't mean to rub it in that his boyfriend is here if other people don't have their partners around.]

It must be difficult not knowing, though.

[He speaks kind of from experience, although at least in Texas he'd been able to get e-mails and texts from and about Billy.]

She does seem like she has things a lot more together than most. [As far as he sees anyway.

Hiccup notices the concerned look and quickly shakes his arms to cancel that out. Sure, he's rather bummed but he isn't wallowing in self-pity. Not really.]

It's ... really alright. I mean, sure, I'd love to see her, but I know her well, and I know she's okay. She'd do fine without me too. Better, probably. I tend to be accident prone and it complicates things.

[Mainly a joke as he chuckles, but ... really, it can true too, whoops.]
