[ Cisco sits back from turning the video feed on, his garage/workshop visible in the background, and goes back to fiddling with a project on his workbench while he talks. ]

So, what kind of movies do you guys like? Back home, I mean. I know stuff is weird here and some movies don't exist, and they have stuff some of us don't have back home, so if there's any good universe-local movies I'm missing out on that only exist here, I could use some recs, too. Bonus points if there's any really good alternate universe versions of stuff I'd know from home. Negative points if it's propaganda crap, because there's enough of that on TV as it is.

[ He props up the thing he's working on to get at the bottom of it, and it looks like a projector. Wonder what that could be for! ]

I'm stunned no one's mentioned Indiana Jones yet. Sure, you've probably seen them, but it's a classic for a reason.

Though that's not exactly what you were asking for, were you? I really enjoyed Fatal Termination, which was a weird cross between the Terminator and Love Actually that somehow worked. Let Fate Decide was pretty good too, it's about a former government agent whose family was kidnapped, and she takes out everyone between her and them. That one's a little propaganda-y, since it's the Russians who take her family and all, but it's not too in your face about it.

And now if you enjoy awful B-movies, this place has them in spades. Red Riding Hood and Paul Bunyan go to Pluto, She was a teenaged Medusa, The Horrible Love of Santa Claus, Snow White versus Marie Curie, and I was a Supermodel for the KGB were my favorites.

Wait, Crystal Skull? ...Is that the one with the fridge? You mean that awful movie exists in other dimensions?

It followed a bunch of Terminator-like robots as they interact with humanity for the first time. Good stuff.

Right?! I picked them on the titles alone, and man did they not disappoint. You haven't lived until you see Paul Bunyon chopping down pluto trees and sparking an intergalactic war.
