Okay, so. Hi. I'm new to this ridiculousness and I've got some questions.

First, did anybody else's powers not come with any directions? I figured out one of them, but the other two don't make any sense or have like, any hints how to use them. At all. Which is stupid.

I mean, I'm sure I can figure it out eventually but...who know how long that could take.

[Not that she likes asking for help, but she was tired of banging her head against this particular wall.]

Right, and the other thing, do we have to do the job on our papers? 'cause student I'm great at but the other one sounds ridiculous. And like, beneath me. Really beneath me.

I am nobody's golf club shiner.

If you register, the government wouldn't be against helping you out monetarily. If you're a minor, especially so. You at least won't have to pay for any rent if you stay in the government housing, so you won't have to worry so much about income if you don't want to keep that job.

Well, it makes sense that you have to work for the things you want but don't need.

I'm 12. Of course I don't want to work.

What kid wants to work?

I don't work, but I do my jobs around the house. I buy my own groceries, we share the chores, and I walk my dog.

Kid or not, we're here and nobody's our babysitter, so we have to take care of ourselves.

I've never had to do any of that stuff.

Well, I don't think you have much choice here.

There's nothing wrong with it. But I think you'll have to get used to working around here.

But seriously, people don't say 'one of them' and then get to say there's nothing wrong with it when you totally meant there was.

Well, there's nothing wrong with having grown up without the need to work? But it depends, I dunno, on how you approach suddenly having to I guess
