Lets not forget that fat gold chain around his neck with a gold emblem of a S that looks like a skull. This guy is, uh, something else.]

[He pauses a moment, as if making sure he's got people's attention, like what he has to say is somehow important. Well, he thinks everything he has to say is important on some level, but whatever.]

This shit really connected to y'all? Awful convenient, huh? Guess y'all better get used to hearing from ya boy on the regular. That's right, big bad Guzma ain't gonna be letting this shit fall into disuse.

So! If you ain't looking for a beat down, I suggest you make yourself useful. I just showed up, and while I ain't no punk loser who ain't got a clue on how to deal with being brought somewhere new so suddenly, may as well do some info gathering, huh?

[More like: Archie won't battle Niko. Also, that sure is a (brief and Disgruntled) Lineface from the sneasel. Not that Niko notices. For all he's trying to think more about his pokemon- it's slid back to me-me-me.]

[Offscreen though, he recalls sneasel and heads for the Porter to jump to The Falls. Not his first choice of a place to go, but whatever. As long as he keeps his pokeballs hidden, he can more or less pass as normal.

But once he's in the Falls and in an out of the way location, Nikolai releases Baku, shows the gengar a picture of Guzma, and simply orders 'Find. Don't be seen or felt by him. Once you've found him, find me.'

Not that he's not going to be looking himself, but ghost-types can move faster than a human and gengars like shadows. Is it cheating? Eh. Sure. Does he care? not really no.]

[Honestly, this is a pretty big city. And, by the time Niko has come to try to find him... Guzma's not even there. Between talking to people on the network, actually Porting to Nonah (the two probably just narrowly missing each other by pure chance), dealing with a few things there, and then Archie... Well, lets just say he hasn't been an easy dude to find.

Actually, he forgot all about this kid trying to challenge him. Which is probably aided by the alcohol in his system, beyond all the bullshit he's dealt with since their conversation. So, when Niko finds him (either himself, or due to his Gengar), Guzma's pretty sloshed.

Which means two things: he's not exactly in a state one should be in for battling, but he's absolutely going to battle. At least he's at a park, and by now it's closer to the evening, than not. What's likely made him more noticeable is the Ariados that's nudging him in the right direction, because his stupid idiot of a trainer clearly needs a guide home. Neither of them seem to notice the Gengar, nor Niko, so it'll be up to him to make his presence known.

Sorry, Niko! Guzma's a fucking mess at the best of times.]

[By the tim he's found Guzma, Nikolai is quite frankly - and rightly in his mind- fuming. He gets being new, he gets talking on the network and all the info-dumps that happen. But really?

Giving him - him!- the run around when it comes to getting a battle? Tch. Well. He's going to put Guzma in his place one way or the other.]

Oi! You!

[And that is very much his theme music playing as Nikolai stalks towards Guzma. He really does not look happy - or nice, or even friendly. Neither does the lurking gengar and between Nikolai's mood and the shadows of incoming evening, Baku looks ready to rumble one way or the other.] You owe me a battle!

[He doesn't notice Niko until he hears that music getting louder with that approach, stopping for a second to look around to find the source of it, but the red-head gets his attention first. His drunk mind not linking the two. Standing with a slouch ordinarily, it's even more so with him being sloppy and drunk.

Ariados looks between Niko and his trainer, a tinge of worry on the little spider's face. But what can he do, really. Guzma still looks confused on where that music is coming from, glancing around for a moment, before settling back on Niko with a sluggish grin.]

—Yeah?

[He looks like he's trying to remember if he did or not. Either way, he shrugs, acquiescing to the proposed battle.]

Ain't kid, don't go cryin' when ya get wrecked by big bad Guzma!

[Ariados looks tired.]
