Sure, when walking away doesn't damage you. It's a basic risk-reward calculation: If this is a big deal, it would impact all imPorts, including you, so you'd benefit from knowing about it. High risk. But if you don't share, and nobody figures it out and it's important, you're as fucked as everybody else.

It's basic self-interest. It's like charging someone to fix your leg when it's broken. You're just being dumb.
