How do you convince government authorities that you're not just feigning ignorance, you're actually computer technology illiterate? This is almost two hours of being told I'm a potential hacker, and while I almost laughed the first time they said it, I'm now wasting my pee break asking for help proving the only way I'll be hacking into a computer is with an axe.

private to knock out, about two hours later;

Knock Out, they're not letting me go home without a sign-off from my legal guardian, and right now you're the only one I have processed. Assistance is appreciated.

It should be within your right to ask for a computer literacy test.

Okay, me I get, but not many are as familiar as me.

Did they actually tell you why they suspect you?

[what in the hell]

You could offer to take a polygraph test.

I knew you were a fast learner, but that's impressive!

Hopefully this isn't because I've been giving you lessons. Did they mention my name?

We've talked a few times since my arrival. That counts. Right?
infomodder: some of them want to use you even after you lose your shit and life is awful, welcome to the fbi (always on duty)

Being asked questions while hooked up to equipment that monitors pulse, blood pressure, respiration, etc. It's commonly called a lie detector test.

[He's not going to get into the controversy behind whether they're always seen as valid, legally. Maybe this world doesn't have the same problems his does when it comes to lie detection. Maybe they've advanced it. Maybe they've not realized they need to advance it. Either way, if Annie doesn't know what one is, she probably hasn't undergone training to pass one whether she has to lie or not.

Not that being a good liar depends on being able to trick a polygraph, of course.

Technically longer if we count the time I spent wondering if you were still alive or not.

Experiments with a willing subject are easier and more informative then the alternative.

Except when they're normal titans, of course.
