Show of hands, show of hands! Who around here knows who Superman is?

...I don't mean like- knows who he is, who he is, I mean knows of the superhero dude. Six foot eight, weighs a freaking ton ♫ I'm kidding, he's not six eight. He's taller.

What about Batman? Wonder Woman? Everybody knows the big three, they're like the holy trinity of punchin' dudes who deserve it. Plus I mean, Wonder Woman, am I right? I'm right. Ultimate justice in a one piece.

[SIGH.] Yeah, you'd think so. I guess people are people no matter what they do.

... Diana, even Donna, they didn't seem like that.

They're different.

Diana- she's Wonder Woman. She's the one who reminds all the rest of us what we should be working toward.

Her presence was... imposing, to say the least.

Oh, definitely. But she's seriously- like, there's nobody like her. Nobody hates Wonder Woman, nobody. People might try to hate her on principle but once you know her, even a little, it's impossible. She's awesome.

I suppose she doesn't have many enemies then?

Oh no she's got tons of enemies; capes always have enemies up the wazoo. But normal people, everyday people who aren't crazy? They love her.

This "big three"... were they the first superheroes?

Nonono, definitely not. There's been loads of superheroes, all throughout time, but like- they're the big three of right now. Back-home right now. They're the big three who thought up the Justice League, I think; I mean, my mentor the Flash, and Aquaman and Martian Manhunter and GL, they're all founders too, but mostly people think of Supes, Bats or Diana when they think of the League.

[ He'll refrain from making any comments on "Bats/Batman". ]

Ah, I think I get it now.

Superheroism and doesn't exist where I'm from. Vigilantism is also highly discouraged since criminal activity is the police's job.

You mean like it is here? For people who don't register, anyway.

Well, we don't have things like registration either. Maintaining the law has always lied with the police.

[ And if it involves chains, Pandora. ]

Well- I mean, what about if there's a crisis? Superheroes are mostly for big crises. Like huge earthquakes or hostile alien invasions, or death robots rampaging around or nuclear reactor meltdowns...

We don't have aliens or robots... Nuclear technology isn't available either.

Okay, well, if you had those I bet you'd have a serious need for superheroes.

I think we would manage just fine with Pandora.

Pandora- what, that music radio app? Yeah, I guess that's kind of a staple...

Okay so like Pandora's box? Like Greek mythology? Does Zeus go around as a swan or an ox or whatever, doing the nasty with people and pissing off his wife like crazy back home for you?
