[When video turns on, Jaime doesn't exactly greet the network with a smile, but he doesn't look distinctly unhappy either -- just a little contemplative, in his own way. He still gives the screen a little wave, though, seated comfortably at his desk. It's where he winds up posting most of the time.]

Hey, guys. I was thinking about something the other day, and I figure some people here might have answers. See, back home, me and my family? We went to Church every Sunday, but once I got here...

[He just shrugs with a tiny grimace that says every excuse anyone ever has, but really boils down to: he got lazy.]

Nnnnnnot so much. But I figure that other people here must've gone to something back home, like a Mosque, or Synagogue, or whatever five thousand other religions there's gotta be. Has anyone actually bothered trying to keep it up once you got here? It's probably harder if your religion isn't an Earth religion, but I'm sure you guys have ways of keeping it up. I feel like it'd be kinda hard to just pop into a Church somewhere too, like they'll make as big a deal out of the whole imPort thing as everyone else here.

[He pauses for a second, looking as if he's going to say something, but he seems to change his mind halfway through.]

Oh! And I know there are some people around here who are technically Gods, like we've got at home? But they're still kind of... well, not human, but, I guess, available? Like the New Gods? [He flaps one hand at the camera.] Thaaaat's not really the sort of religious thing I'm talking about, but maybe you guys have your own rituals too.

[Initially, Victor had opted for a video post to explore how the function worked. Now he's settling for text because he prefers the slower pace of the medium, and doesn't feel as pressed to immediately respond. Writing gives him time to think on what to say, and time for other people to respond. Audio gives him a pressure to reply, and he doesn't feel eloquent about what he's saying. This technology is new. It makes him feel ignorant and like he's bumbling through a conversation.

And he personally finds it harder to tell what a person is saying from their voice alone. At least with a video recording one can see someone's lips moving and their facial expressions.

It's a simple enough task to switch to audio, but he won't because he simply hates it. People are free to respond however they like. He doesn't mind if people want to reply slowly or not at all, and is happy enough to be afforded the same courtesy. This is a small problem and he's got other things to worry about, right now.]

Forgive me for interrupting. I would like a minute of your time, if I may.

Upon entering this strange land all of us were given powers. I am eternally grateful for retaining the use of my transmutations, but I fear my third gift requires your consent. The fact I have dedicated my life to saving another has not gone unnoticed by our hosts. They are likely accurate with their description of Power Amplification. But surely they cannot expect me to conduct myself in hit-and-miss experimentation without seeking your consent.

Alas, two words were all they gave by way of explanation. I must say it's a troubling thought that we arrive blind to our capabilities.

[It starts in showing Sora in his room in one of the Heropa residences, sitting crosslegged on his bed as he turns on the phone. Looking perhaps rather uncharacteristically serious. Because he has a question to ask - again. But way more important this time!]

So. I've got a question. I can't be the only one that has come back with other powers right? Before I only really figured two of mine but now I figured a third one. Mostly. Can anyone else turn into something else? I can turn into a lion!

I guess I figured I hadn't really asked about other people's powers much outside of knowing what Riku can do here. So I'm curious. Besides, there are new people here from last month that could possibly learn from this too, right? So it can't hurt. I'll even show you!

Don't know if this thing is recording. Supposed to put me in touch with everyone out there, ain't it?

[ He rubs at some unseen tension on his face. ]

'Cause I've been watchin' this network. Watchin' everyone talking. Making their posts. Goin' on like this ain't no big deal bein' in this world...

[ His eyes narrow. ]

You all act like you're friendly. You have your parties and celebrations. You pretend like things are okay... [ He thinks, for just a moment, of Verity. Verity in near tears at the Swear In after being bathed in so many untruths. ]

And you lie. Not just to the world, but to yourselves.
