[ As soon as the video feed begins, there is a face that is, perhaps, just a bit too close to the screen. ]

Ooh-! It's working!

[ And then she backs up, eyes brightened and a broad smile stretching from ear to ear. ]

Oh, my gosh! I can't believe that this is actually happening! Superpowers! An alternate universe!! Can you [ you being directed towards nobody in particular ] imagine the possibilities?

[ She spreads one of her arms out and upwards (quite dramatically), the motion causing her glasses to slide down the bridge of her nose. She pauses for a moment, and, afterwards, promptly straightens herself, her forefinger pushing her glasses right back up.

Maybe she got a little too excited for a second there. ]

Anyways, I should probably introduce myself! My friends call me Honey Lemon, and I look forward to spending some time here with everyone!

When it comes to alternate universes, the possibilities are infinite. Some people here have met alternate versions of the people they know. You, um, get used to it. [Cheerfully,] But you seem to be taking this pretty well!

No way. [ Her eyes bright up at the thought of meeting another version of her. She really isn't full of herself, but it sounds fun enough. ]

What can I say? Everything here is just so interesting!

It's just, usually people are a little more put off about it! Being excited about it's kind of refreshing, though. [He grins.] Has anyone sent you the FAQ yet? I swear, we need someone just standing by the porter passing 'em out.

Someone needs to look on the bright side, right? [ She shrugs at this, smiling bashfully. ]

No, I haven't gotten that, but people have been really helpful with giving me information.

Right. Well, people here are generally helpful -- they're the best thing about this place.

[That could be a condemnation of their surroundings, but he sounds fairly cheerful, so not so much -- people-loving optimists collide!]

You want me to send it to you just in case?

I agree! There's so many interesting people to meet too! [ Helpful, fun, interesting. As of now, she's having a fairly nice time settling in. ]
