[ As soon as the video feed begins, there is a face that is, perhaps, just a bit too close to the screen. ]

Ooh-! It's working!

[ And then she backs up, eyes brightened and a broad smile stretching from ear to ear. ]

Oh, my gosh! I can't believe that this is actually happening! Superpowers! An alternate universe!! Can you [ you being directed towards nobody in particular ] imagine the possibilities?

[ She spreads one of her arms out and upwards (quite dramatically), the motion causing her glasses to slide down the bridge of her nose. She pauses for a moment, and, afterwards, promptly straightens herself, her forefinger pushing her glasses right back up.

Maybe she got a little too excited for a second there. ]

Anyways, I should probably introduce myself! My friends call me Honey Lemon, and I look forward to spending some time here with everyone!

[Yeah, there's a slight clanking of sorts when he shifts his right arm a bit more, though he's not focusing on that or specifically showing it off exactly.]

The science of understanding matter, deconstructing it and then reconstructing it to something else. Or fixing it if it was broken. More or less. Within reason and having the materials available. But I know Hiro's big on the whole robot thing.

Sure I can. I have a shop for people to come to me to transmute them stuff in Heropa. But yeah I've heard a lot of people asking and not believing me about it since they say it isn't possible back home for them.

[As an example, he claps his hands, the left one shifting back from the right as he extends the auto-mail out into his trademark blade, tell-tale pale blue sparks flying and that ethereal hum as he claps.]

Simple. Once you know the chemistry behind what you're breaking down and reconstructing.

Right? And that's pretty simple, really. Just rearranging the metal to be thinner and longer near the wrist, really. It's my 'power' here, but I still say it's a science. Even if some mistake it or a miracle or whatever.

[And shifting back to his normal auto-mail after that demonstration. Better that he doesn't mess with it too much outside of necessity.]

Sure. My specialty of sorts is metal if anything. But I can work with a lot of stuff. Just certain....laws to keep in mind. I'm not making anyone gold, for starters. Pretty sure that should or would still be illegal here.

[And he's not sure he really needs to mention the law on human transmutation, not when Tadashi is already here and they can be brought back with the continuum anyway.]

The theory? I can possibly help you with some basics at least. Though I'm not sure any of my notes would help, since they're coded. In person, maybe. Not that I've ever...taught it before, but if you're interested.

[Gold is just generally the first thing most tend to jump to from their stories of alchemy. Ed's used to that.]

Just let me know and we can arrange to meet at the library or something sometime.
