( Hay kids. It's that one loser, looking considerably cleaner, better fed and more relaxed than her first post. Part of it's pretence and part of it is being better fed, but whatever.

Today, Tara's posture is a lazy slouch against the side of her sofa, bottle of beer in hand. )

Okay, so-- possibly a personal question. How many of you dudes are from worlds where everything's kinda gone to Hell? Apocalypse-style, y'know? Like, uh, I dunno. Everyone simultaneously woke up with Donald Trump hair, or meteors hit, or there's an undead shit-storm unfolding outside.

( A casual shrug. Seems like it might be less crazy a thing here than she thought. )

And, part two: what's the best thing about the world ending? 'Cause, I mean, I kinda miss living off ramen and canned stuff being a win instead of a basis for judgment.

( Hmm. Tara takes a swig of her beer. Maybe she is a bit less okay then she seems, but that's basically what her life is all about. )

Gotta find the bright side, right?

Maybe. ( That is a very, very depressing way to look at the world. Sometimes, though, she finds herself wondering thoughts along those lines. )

It was chaotic. Then it was just quiet - boring. I didn't-- I mean, I didn't get how lucky we were, just being bored.

( She's pretty sure there's a line from some movie about how the lucky don't realise they are lucky until the moment has passed, but the name of it's gone now. To have plenty of supplies, a safe place and her family all together. That she could shoot and had ammunition, that Lilly was a nurse. They had it so much better than other people for the longest time. )

It's like... you start seeing what the world's meant to be like without pollution and all the shit going on, but if you stop and appreciate it, you'll probably be dead.

[ Grey thinks that's a strange thing to say. He doesn't know why everyone would be dead if the world was how it ought to be, without pollution and looking natural. What had ended things for her people, then? Obviously not the snow. ]

I guess, the world didn't die, exactly. The Earth was fine. Global warming was a thing, I guess, but it was still fine.

( She's not good at talking, unless she's talking total bullshit. )

All the people-- there was a virus, and it'd make corpses start walking and eating. I'd say most of humanity is dead, and the rest of us are just trying to keep it together. You're always moving, always fighting. Does that answer your question any?
