[So T'Challa's been here a day or so. He gets the gist. Time to address the public like all noobies do! People who know T’Challa may notice he has grown a beard in recent times, and is also wearing glasses. With how many people here that likely recognizes him, there’s little point in having another identity, so he won’t use the fake name he was given in Hell's Kitchen. But for now, he doesn’t see much of a point to change his civilian appearance.

If anything it will let others know what period of time he is from.]

Making network posts seem to be one of the more common ways to introduce ones self in this universe, so I have decided to not stray far from the normal routine. My name is T’Challa and I have been in this world for about a day. And despite a lack of... subtlety--[Such as HEROpa.]-- there doesn't appear to be many large differences between my universe and this one.

But even so, I do have a few questions. Questions mainly for those who have likely been here for a couple of years. Over the network I have seen talk about a world that took place before this one. “City” is the name I keep hearing. I am curious as to what this other “City” was like. How similar is this world to that one? Were these same laws still in place as well as the tattoos?

It's nice to meet you, T'Challa. I'm Ellie. That last question is very [simple and polite, which is almost weird] different to see asked. It's nice to see someone ask though.

[This place needs more personable people!] I can't tell you anything first hand about the City, I wasn't there, but I've gotten some information from a bunch of people I could pass on to you.

Any assistance would be appreciated. The things I know so far is that the City was in another dimension and was apparently consumed? Does the match what you have heard?

I was only just informed about that part recently. [So the name is prooobably wrong, but wuteva!! The name isn't super important! You'll know a big space monster when you see it.]

Sounds like what I was told. Supposedly her sister is the one that saved the people that were in the city.

It might have something to do with that. I get the feeling there's a lot more to it than just that though. Nothing is ever that simple.

I also have a sneaking suspicion that it may not be the last we see of them.

I've thought the same myself. A few people I've talked to said similar things too, that they're not sure if it was the last they'd see of them.

Though if a second time were to occur, I would like for us to be more better prepared than the first.

Is there really any way to prepare for something like that? [She'd love to know if there was, it might make her feel better about the disaster that is her home.]

Always. You simply need the right tools and resources. As well as information.

[He had Galactus preparation plans back home. So yeeeah he pretty decent at that.]

The information part seems like it's the hardest to gather and plan for.

It is. But while it will be difficult, I do not view it as impossible.

The creature is apparently strong enough to eat a city and punch a planet. [Unless he misinterpreted the information he has gotten so far.] So that is a start at least.

[You know. As if planning for a creature that strong isn't nigh impossible. But at the same time Galactus is in his universe sooo.]

Those seem like really impossible feats to stand up against.

Normally you would think so, but I disagree.

Where I am from there are heroes with abilities that have stood up to foes with greater or equal power. Sometimes it only takes planning and preparation. Others times, brute force.

Your world must be an impressive place.

Though I feel it is the people who are the most impressive.

How about your world? Is there anything that sets it apart as well? I imagine that there are no superheroes there.

[Since it doesn't seem like she's used to battling giant demi-gods who punch worlds and stuff.]

There aren't superheroes, but there are monsters that most people would think only exist in nightmares.

And these monstrous creatures roam the Earth?

No. Not yet. They overran our colonies first.

But in your time I am sure that there are high advancements in weaponry. So what exactly makes these creatures so formidable?

To try to make a very complicated story brief, it's something like an infection. It drives people insane and eventually they turn into necromorphs. It spreads quickly and it's impossible to cure once it's gotten into you. The station where I lived and worked was completely overrun in a few hours, millions of people lived there.
