[A smile pulls over his face, having changed to some of the clothing he had bought in this world the first time he was here for now. Very much pink, the pants matching the pink of his choker necklaces and beaded wristbands. No clown makeup either, instead blue eyeshadow, a contrast to his bright red, slicked back hair. During the day, he remembers he still has to shift his dress code a little. What he had done before still wasn't that far away... though he's heavily considering returning to his style from back home since returning there now. He misses it.]

[As if that's her name. He smiles, stepping over to her. A whopping 6'3.5" in these heels.]

[ When she'd agreed to meet someone, she'd known better than to make initial judgments. And yet, somehow the style of the text had perhaps lent her some biased thinking.

Because when Reika gazes up (and up and up) at him, she definitely didn't expect a tall red-haired man wearing eyeshadow and pink pants. And heels.

To her credit, she doesn't stare for more than a few seconds, instead bowing politely and thankfully keeping her surprise very well hidden. ]

That's correct. My name is Reika Aoki, and I appreciate the time you took.

[ BUT HE'S DEFINITELY UNEXPECTED. ]

[To be fair, he was putting on a show. He still uses things like emoticons when he types, but definitely not to that extent. The game was for this though, to give a contrast between what he was there, and here, in person. As well as to tease and prod at those that know him from his time here before.]

[Hisoka smiles down to her, offering a charming and pleased expression before gesturing up a hand, the other setting on his hip.]

And which do you prefer? Reika?

[His eyelids low, still studying her little by little. No where near as intense as that other female he had spoken to in his post, but still promising, in her own way. He definitely needs a better look though.]

Reika is fine. [ It might be hard to tell whether or not she knows she's being studied at first. But her eyes remain on his face and her chin stays up because, she thinks, being uncertain is not the way to go about this. And also not her style. ]

And how should I address you?

[She has this air of innocence to her that most children he meets seem to have, though like Killua he can tell the gears are still actively turning. Ah, but his favorite part is how bright her gaze back is, it makes it easy to keep his smile.]

Hisoka.

[He lifts his head a little.]

And you may have been mistaken by my post, but I've been here for quite some time already. I've yet to meet you. I'm sure I would remember. [His voice is nothing like the one you might think of after reading that post... A lot lower.]

[ There's something like consternation, ever so briefly in the knitting of her eyebrows, if just because Reika isn't fond of being tricked. But then again, as she mentally sifts through their previous conversation, Hisoka hadn't actually stated that he had been new, so if she'd paid more attention... ]

I would be the newer one here. It's only been a few weeks since I arrived. ... So it seems I may not be as much help to you as I would have hoped.

[ She's a little bit disappointed, in that regard. ]

["Hisoka-san". He's reminded of Ken. Japanese right? What would he call her then, some title after her name? Maybe he'll look it up. -san is such a cute thing to say after a name.]

[He won't argue that he was leading on, but then he wasn't really lying that much either. Not that he's against lying.]

Only a few weeks, no, I wouldn't say that. I'm not very good at being a hero, you certainly sound like you know what you're doing.

The sentiment behind your actions is the most important. [ This, Reika says firmly. ] Regardless of how small or large you'd consider that action to be.

To want to be a hero? Or to save them? That's what truly makes me one, right?

If the wish to protect others guide your actions, then yes... that's what I believe.

And a hero saves all, despite knowing them or not? Were I to only save those I have interest in or see deserving, would I still be a hero?

A hero to those who were saved... but I would want to save everyone.

[ Because no one is going to know everyone. Does that make them any less deserving? ]

Everyone? Such a dangerous goal for such a small girl. Though I wonder if you're more capable than a first glance may hint? I hope so.

[And he means that. Ah.... What does she have to offer? He wants to know. That shiver before, how blue seems to be in all she is, ice then? And his power empathy makes her almost... Seem to shift slightly, in the same way it made that Usagi girl shift, and Iori and those from his world.]

Most people are more than what they initially appear. Hopefully I won't disappoint you.

[ Reika, no, you don't know he's a creeper yet. ]

[Ah, she's so cute. He smiles.]

Perhaps we can work together in the future, should you ever need a team mate. [Smiles.]

I would enjoy that, Hisoka-san. I work best with others, after all.

[ And he doesn't... seem.... bad.... ]

So you had a team back home? Are any of them here now?

[Not bad at all. He can be quite helpful even!]

Ah... [ Her shoulders slump, ever so slightly. ] I'm afraid not. It seems I'm the only one here.

I'm sure some will arrive at some point. And if they do, its up to you to continue getting stronger and make a lot of new friends to introduce to them.

I intend to better myself and return before they're dragged into this.

[ So yes, she'll fight like a mofo. ]

And how will you be doing that? Any ideas yet?

You're certain? I wouldn't turn down assistance, but that's quite a bit to ask of you.

Not at all, it's one of my favorite things to do. I could say it was even a selfish thing of me to ask.
