Hi. I'm back.


What I learned on my road trip:

1. Always take a head count before you drive off.

2. Ken-kun is a trustworthy keeper of the coffee.

3. Akihiko-senpai and Gogo-san should not be driving the cars at the same time.

4. Tadashi-san has no idea when people flirt with him.

5. Flowers in Animal Crossing are very serious.

6. Akihiko-senpai should probably not have been introduced to coffee. Sorry.

7. Points 2, 3 and 6 are related.

8. Everyone looks cute in mouse ears. Everyone, including Shinjiro-senpai.

9. If you go camping, you have to have a fire, smores, and ghost stories. And scorpions.

10. Dippin Dots.

11. It takes Hiro-kun and Tadashi-san less than fifteen minutes to completely dismantle a car.

12. No one else wants to hear the Rocky soundtrack ever again.

13. California has a lot of traffic. Corollary: America is very big.

14. Points 11 and 13 are related; see Tadashi-san's previous post.

15. Hotel beds can only comfortably fit two people. Some people would rather sleep in a bath tub.

16. Jaime-kun is a wimp about eating weird food. I finished it.

17. I missed getting to fight evil jello with Hiro-kun.

18. It's okay to text someone when they're sitting next to you.

19. Driving at night while everyone is asleep is peaceful.

20. I'm glad I have my friends. And I think I made a couple new ones.


Also, I have souvenirs. Including some for a few others... Oba-san, I got you something, too.

And I was wondering, what happened at the swear in this month?

Well, some of them weren't really long term relationships. They just needed someone to help them get some confidence, or move past a problem.

I think the first girl I dated was Chihiro-san in the summer, but it was going on while you were there, senpai.

They're busy, too, so I couldn't see any given one on any given day... But thankfully, once we were close enough, it didn't bother them if they didn't see me for a while.

[He doesn't know! Ken, Akihiko and Shinji are all terrible barometers for what's normal. Maybe they live in a weird, polygamous society, and Akihiko and Shinji are morally repugnant for being monogamous.

Definitely not. I had to make sure they didn't get jealous.

They all knew about each other and they got jealous but they STILL wanted to date you?

[well he did drink a lot of pheromone coffee to up his charisma.

[Jaime has, somewhat erroneously, come to the conclusion that there was a great deal more communication from Minato than there really was. Oops.]

[Sorry, Jaime. Minato really needs someone to explain to him in small words how this whole respecting other peoples' feelings thing works.]

It was a little confusing for me at first. [But not actually because there were so many of them, more just that it was happening at all. Minato realizes there's something else he doesn't know about Jaime and promptly types out,] Are you dating anyone?

Yeah. I was dating Traci at home and now she's here too

[Too bad this is text, or else he'd be able to see how cheerful he is about that prospect. Heck yeah, he has a girlfriend!]

That's great. Have you gotten to do anything nice together since you've been here?

Some. Between attacks anyway

[His reservations for a fancy Valentine's Day dinner.... he's still sad about that one, and the jailbreak that coincided with it.]

It's been nice. How about you have you been dating anyone since you got here?

[He's been here for a few months. Maybe he's racked up another 13 girlfriends.]

You should take her to the beach. And bring a gift.

[He's been plenty busy, Jaime. Also, all the girls he's been talking to are either too young or taken. Except...]

I went out once with Kay-san, but that was part of the charity auction. There might be someone else, too, but I'm not sure how things are going yet.

[By which he means he isn't sure how to define things with Riku yet, or if he'd be comfortable with Minato telling anyone, much less in public.]
