How many of you have 'side effects' from them? Anybody know? I know there's gotta be more than one... but it's not all of you, is it?

Just think about it. Normal people aren't made for risking their lives... America just grabbed a bunch of random people and asked them to fight. Getting powers doesn't mean you're suddenly a hero.

Headaches.

I've never been prone to them before and only had a headache occasionally. That's not the case anymore.

I'm not sure what it is that causes the symptom. It stared right after I arrived here.

[There's a short, neutral noise as he considers that.]

...I think that one's common enough. Especially for people whose powers take thought or concentration and whatever. [he can't imagine all the psychics and whatever-kineses people not getting headaches and migraines, what with the stress and concentrating and learning how to use their mind in a new way.]

Mine only kicks up if my Persona's being an asshole- and if it's bed enough, my chest, too. But it ain't been that way in a long while.

You been taking anything for it?

[We interrupt this rant against America to bring you yet another stab of audibly painful migraine. Which might be more pleasant to listen to than Tetsuo being angry.]

[He grabs the dustpan full of glass while he at it and hurries (quietly) downstairs]

It's not like Tetsuo's gonna go anywhere. The most he's gonna be able to come up with to do is thrash around and maybe pull a pillow over the back of his head as hard as he possibly can. Then throw it violently at the wall when that predictably doesn't do anything.]

[This is all kind of alarming, but Kazu is 95% sure any suggestion of a hospital isn't going to go well. He finds some frozen peas or something and a clean dishrag to wrap them in and (again, quietly) hurries back up.]

That sucks. I got no clue, then, especially if it's all the time. You sure it's cause've your power?

[As for a Persona.... He shrugs. Sorry, Tetsuo, you're not getting the long explanation. Instead he just brings up a hand, thumb and forefinger extended in a 'gun' shape, and taps his temple with it.]

[Those peas wrench themselves out of Kazu's grasp the second he brings Tetsuo's attention to them. He'll stop screaming when he wants to stop screaming. Which is when it stops feeling like someone's compressing his head in a vice and stabbing needles into it all at once.

It does eventually abate enough that he shuts up, though.]

[A shrug, seemingly unfazed by the trailing and sudden question. And also shifting the snake because wow, Soba, you are curling a bit too close to his neck. Chill out, girl.]
