And if he recalls, he wasn't even playing 'himself' really in his last message here, more just to pass the time. Of course this new post he plans will be nothing but nonsense--

Let's play a game, shall we? I'm sure many of us looking at the network for now have nothing better to do. Have you ever played 'Would You Rather?' It relies on creativity and a degree of forethought. [And can be a lot more indepth and profound than one might think. Or so he hopes it will be.]

You create two situations and ask which someone would prefer. Shall I start? Perhaps something simple to get our feet wet.

[His legs uncross, and cross in the opposite way, a hand with bright, long, clawed nails appears and picks up the cup for a moment before setting it back down.]

Because he was allergic to shellfish? I'm not sure I believe that. [He is going to Snopes this right now. Maybe he'll find something, though whatever this is this person is talking about could've happened in his own world.]

It's true! It's because they're in the same family of animals. Bugs and shrimps and lobsters.

But spiders are a delicacy in some countries. I saw it on discovery channel yesterday. I'd try em.

You know a fair amount about animals then, did you also learn this on the discovery channel? It seems I really am not the only bored one here.

Oh ho- I'm already aware of how tantalizing they can be. 'Delicacy' works wonderfully.

I read a lot of books back home. Lots of them. No TV.

Oh, I have a taste for a particular species. Yes. And I certainly don't need to be told to do that.

My turn, would you rather see into a person's past, or their future?

Probably the future.

The future isn't set in stone, but getting a good idea can help them. The past can't change.

So you'd want to be able to help them? I see. You think looking into their past wouldn't?

I don't think it would do much and I don't believe in that bullshit about "you shouldn't know too much about your future" because there's no saying that future is gonna happen a hundred percent.

Is that what you truly believe? Things are not set in stone? I wonder at that, are you at all religious?

I'm not religious. I mean I believe that gods exist because it's pretty clear that they do, least in my world.

Zeus was a big back in the day.

How can anything be set in stone? If something happens in this time line, it might not happen in another.

It doesn't matter if it happens in this one or not because there's always gonna be another time line where some bad shit does happen.

Some god's exist with the idea that they know all and see all, which implies they can see and know the future. This makes one assume that the future is thus set in stone, for it would have to be if a god could see and know it.

That being the reason I asked.

But I agree, personally, things always seem to take surprising turns, but perhaps that is merely our perspective at work.
