[The video opens on a patch of blue sky, with some birds flying by. The camera turns and there's a surprisingly green girl giving a smile and a wave. And apparently holding the comm with no hands. She floats (??) peacefully for a bit, wind catching her cape before looking at the camera again.]

Hey, everyone! I'm Miss Martian. But you can call me M'gann. Just thought I'd introduce myself. A-and even though I am actually from Mars, I promise I'm not here to invade or anything! I mean, an invasion of just one person isn't a very good invasion. And I'd probably go all undercover so you wouldn't even notice... It'd be pretty easy actually.

[She actually appears to be considering the logistics of an alien invasion before remembering herself.]

Anyways! I'm really excited to meet everyone and I hope we can be friends!

["In a sec" can be very literal when you're dealing with a speedster, so M'gann immediately flies back to her house, phasing through the door and just... sits on the couch for awhile. Gathering her thoughts.

Except she can't stop thinking back to that moment, watching Wally disappear. There wasn't even a body and Artemis' face had been-- M'gann takes a deep breath that sounds suspiciously like a sob. This was supposed to be a gift. A second chance. But it just feels like a reminder that in her world, there no longer was a Wally West.

She doesn't know how long she sits there struggling to regain some kind of mental balance, and she startles when there's a knock on the door. She hesitates for a moment, wiping away the last of the tears, wondering how to approach this. It must be hard on Wally too, knowing-- just knowing. So she tries to school her expression into something approaching her usual cheer and opens the door.

That all goes out the window when she sees him and can't help but throw herself at him in a tight hug. Possibly too tight, given Martian strength.]

Wally. I just-- I still can't believe it's you.

[Maybe once they're done hugging and M'gann is done squeezing all the air out of Kid, she'll notice that he's shorter and smaller around the shoulders than she's used to. He's creeping up on twenty-one here though, and now more than ever it's obvious how much of a gap exists between the person he is here, the person he was when he left home and the person he turns into back there.

Breathing is overrated anyway.

M'gann, always somewhat cool to the touch, stays wrapped around him and he can feel the tension, can feel how desperate her grip against his back is, how she's still holding herself back a little bit and so he just hugs her as tight as he can and closes his eyes, resting his chin on her shoulder.]

Mostly me. Not exactly the guy you remember, but I'll get there eventually. I'm definitely here though, totally alive and sticking around for a while, okay? Not going anywhere.

[For a moment, M'gann thinks she's shifted to be a little taller. But then she remembers. Different parts of the timeline. Wally must be from even earlier than she thought.

Eventually, she finds the strength to let go, though she can't keep herself from trying to catalogue every inch of him just... just in case. It still doesn't feel real. Abruptly, M'gann remembers herself and steps aside to let Wally inside the house.]

I hope you don't have to be anywhere, because I'm definitely keeping you for awhile.

Ayyy, Green Cheeks, you can keep me as long as you want. [And this ginger piece of shit actually gives her finger guns as he passes her into the house.

He knows what she's looking for; it's the same as Dick, when he showed up as Nightwing. They want to see him, Wally, Kid Flash without all the bitterness, the way he was before the team reportedly fell apart. And KF? He's more than happy to give them that.

The second they're inside he's wrenching down his goggles and tugging back his mask, perching on the arm of the couch.] Hey Megs, so I guess you don't remember being here before?

[M'gann shuts the door after him, taking a moment to take a deep breath before following Wally.]

I didn't even know I was here before. Mostly people have been saying there are alternate universe versions of me. Which I'm still trying to wrap my head around, by the way.

[She stands opposite Wally and just... lets herself relax. This is her friend and he's not going anywhere. Not right now.]

You wanna do a- [he makes a weird motion next to his temple] Maybe it'll be easier to just like, snap up all the knowledge from a reputable source.
