A question, ImPorts: what would your preferred secret identity be? How ridiculous would you be willing to go in terms of name and costume? Which imagery would you avoid when suiting up?

Additionally, I have a small thesis I've been working on and if anyone is free to be interviewed and/or analysed re: their views on vigilantism, I would be very grateful. If you would prefer anonymity, I'm sure we can work something out.

Well, technically I gave my superhero name as "Prince of the Southern Isles." But if I had powers better suited to secret identities...I suppose I'd choose something heroic!

It's a bit of a mouthful, but it is certainly a title. Very noble of you! Most people do seem to aspire to the heroics. Would you take on a costume?

I honestly haven't really thought about putting on a costume. I'd probably want to avoid anything too silly. Or gaudy. Or tasteless. [She's thinking of Biko so hard right now.]

Ridiculous is more entertaining. People seem to prefer animals - I have yet to see a rabbit themed super hero, though.
So you're keen to avoid octopuses who are Nazi's?

I don't know that I'm cut out for the whole superhero shtick myself, though. If I was, I think I'd probably just choose something simple and to the point. I can't say I've given it a lot of thought, though.

How ridiculous? I'd probably go as far ridiculous as I could up until it was almost too hard to take me seriously. If you're going to have a fake name and a costume you might as well make it as completely different from yourself as possible, right?
