[ the feed comes on to show a boy with very tall hair and a much shorter girl with scratches on her face over her eye, one looking rather cheerful and the other less so. ]

Hi hi hi everyone, I have an important question. [ he holds up a finger, tilts his head as if a thought had just occurred to him. he's so preoccupied he was going to launch himself into his spiel without even introducing himself. ] I'm being rude. I am Henry Cheng, and we were wondering —

[ the not so tall and in fact very short girl interrupts. ] We're looking for someone we know! [ she pulls a little face, looking over at Mr. Henry Cheng. ] A few people, actually. [ okay, maybe that was a little rude. she murmurs something unintelligible and takes a step back. please, proceed. ]

And that was my lovely friend Blue. [ he gestures with a flourish toward her, shoots her a wink, absolutely unbothered by the interruption or her outburst. ] As she said, we are looking for someone. Multiple someones. I'm sure this place has a list of sorts, yes? A quick way to CTRL-F a friend's name and find out their status?

[ he looks a bit more serious, then, like underneath the cheerfulness he's exhausted. his next words are very earnest. ]

We would appreciate any info. Thank you.

[ in the background, Blue begins tromping away, shedding dead leaves for some reason, and can be vaguely heard to say 'maybe we should've mentioned Gansey by name' before the video ends. ]

I'm not sure I want to talk about it with someone who's been a senior citizen for a century. [ This one doesn't. It would literally have killed someone if she did, so. ]

[brushoff]

Then it's a good thing age doesn't matter anyway—only youth does. And I have youth in abundance. [ senior citizen whatever, he's pretty and that's what matters. ]

[oceiteres]

[ Gansey is pretty. Dorian is a person. Who is young-looking. ]

That definitely sounds like an excuse.

[brushoff]

It's the truth. One's age doesn't matter. What does matter is that one has the appearance to back it up.

[ Who has two thumbs and issues about growing old/showing wrinkles, THIS GUY. ]

[ Well, one can kind of understand why. ]

[brushoff]

[ Dorian can't help but laugh a little at that, giving Blue a little shrug. ] Considering that I've met too many people who are pretty and brainless, I'll grant you that little.

[oceiteres]

[ Her eyes are going to get tired of trying to roll outta her skull. Especially the one that nearly got scratched out. ]

It's unrealistic to expect people to be perfect.

[brushoff]

[ don't worry Blue, Dorian knows that people can't reach his level of perfection. ]

In that case, if we're going for a hierarchy, I'd prefer looks over brains. You can try to fix stupid.

[oceiteres]

[ This is a noise of vague disgust. Or frustration. Disgustration. ]

You just made a lot of generalizations there.

[brushoff]

[ to which Dorian just shrugs ] And your point is?

[oceiteres]

[ Blue sort of stares. ] You're sort of impossible.

[brushoff]

[ He just laaaaaaughs. ] But in the best way possible.

[oceiteres]

[ You can have this one, Dorian Gray: ] I guess not in the worst way, at least.

[brushoff]

Certainly not in the worst way. [ There's a pause as Dorian just shakes his head. ] You're in the running for best of the Aglionby boys, by the way—though, I suppose I need a better name for you lot.

[oceiteres]

You rank us? [ Arching one brow. The brow of judgment. The brow of 10% curiosity. Nay, 5%. ] We're all from Henrietta. I'm sure you could come up with something creative with that.

[brushoff]

I rank everybody. [ Telling the obvious. ] Do you wish to hear said rankings?

[oceiteres]

[ Her eyes are really going to get tired. ] Right, of course. You basically said as much earlier. You're going to tell me either way, aren't you?

[brushoff]

Of course I am.

[ and then, Dorian swaps the feed to private because hey, might be a good idea ]
This is a combination of those I like and those I find the most interesting. Top to bottom: Gansey, Ronan, Matthew, Noah, Parrish. Cheng isn't listed simply because he's too new. You used to be somewhere near the bottom but as it is right now, I imagine you're edging out Matthew for the third spot.

[ he is just 100% telling her this to be a massive, massive shithead ]

[oceiteres]

[ Ugh, she could scream. But she's still talking to him! Is this trainwreck syndrome? What is this?

Is she a bad person too? (Yeah, she's already decided Dorian is not a nice person.) That's it.

She's a bad person and needs to just accept that right now. Apparently [insert events of The Raven King here] made her into a person that someone like Dorian doesn't hate. ]

What'd I do to rank that low?

[brushoff]

It's less of ranking that low and more of the fact that I haven't talked to you as much as the others. Of course, I've only talked to Ronan a few times but his interesting nature makes up for his horrendous personality.

[oceiteres]

[ Is that... good... ugh. ]

[brushoff]

What, the fact that I think his personality's horrendous? Doesn't everybody?

[ have you MET Ronan, Blue??? ]

[oceiteres]

No, the part where you said he was interesting. [ Look of unassuming innocence goes here. ]

Well, you do know about his abilities—he created that bird thing after all. Wouldn't you call those interesting?

[ it doesn't hit Dorian's mind that 'oh yeah, Ronan created the bird thing in game, Blue's not gonna know about it' ]
