I refuse to consider a wish like that with only myself in mind.

I was thinking it'd be refillable. Like a glass that you can't ever drain because it fills right up again.

What would happen if you tried to pour it out?

Tough to say without actually doing it, but either it'd just keep on pouring, or you'd have to turn it upright again so it'd fill back up.

I can see some alternate uses for the first option. The second option would be the safer one.

I would agree with that. Vague wording can be interpreted creatively. Or the results could be applied to unintended means.

At best, you'd leave it up to the genie to interpret. And even if they were trying their best, it might be a meaning you never intended.

Besides... I'm not sure I would assume the genie had your best interests at heart to start with. If we're talking about the kinds of genies from stories, I can't see how imposing your will on a captive being would endear you to them.
