[Congrats Heropa, you have one uncertain looking teenager on the network. Both arms are crossed over his chest (which is missing the usual red S) and Conner practically glares at the phone that he's set up. Behind him is the turmoil of his room that the people currently in Residence 16 might have heard him tossing about. The bed has been upended and is sitting on its side against one of the walls along with the rest of the furniture - some may notice he's taken a couple of chairs from the common area. That doesn't leave a lot of open space in the rest of his room and that's the way he likes it.

He also may or may not have searched for bugs.

Curled up on one of those chairs is an excessively large white wolf, part of his body spills off the chair. Wolf has his resting on one the arms and doesn't seem to care about Conner or his public broadcast.]

So...it's the fourth of July. A day of independence and freedom. Feels kind of ironic to have shown up on this day. [He doesn't elaborate on that more but certain people know.]

Are we expected to keep the jobs they gave us or are we allowed to find a new one? [Conner does not look excited about the prospect of having to keep it.] I'll give it a try but I don't know how well it will go over for me working at a fitness place.

[Sure, he can benchpress a small car but that doesn't mean he can teach someone to benchpress a car.]

It's a wolf. [Said Wolf lifts his head to peer at the communicator and the girl in it.]

Where'd you get it? Can you even keep that thing in this city?

[Gosh, excited girl over just a wolf.]

I found him in India back in my world. No one's said anything about him so far. The government even listed him on my powers so I don't see why anyone would take him away.

[klutziness]

[look she has seen a lot of weird stuff here, but a wolf is a new one]

You've got a pet wolf as your power. That's so weird. But also really cool. What's his name?

[projectkr]

[What? You mean other teens don't have giant genetically enhanced wolves as pets?]

Pretty much. I wonder if that happened to other people that have pets. His name is Wolf. [Not creative in the least.]

[klutziness]

Well, Brad isn't listed under my powers so there must just be something super special about uh, Wolf. So, what is it?

[Well, he knew that was the case back home but in a place filled with people from other worlds too? Conner excepted some different animals.]

Who's Brad? He's not exactly the normal size of a wolf so maybe that's why.

[klutziness]

[on cue, a kinkajou pokes his head up from behind rikku's left shoulder. he proceeds to climb atop her head and perch in her hair. she does not seem to care, but does give him a cursory point.] This is Brad.

I guess he isn't, but still! I didn't know animals could be powers.

[projectkr]

[Not a monkey so...] Cute.

Me either. Guess I'll have to ask around if anyone else has an animal as part of their power.

[klutziness]

He knows. Can't tell him too often though, else he'll get a big head.

You guys could have like, a group with jackets. Pet Squad or something cooler.

Definitely can't have that.

Uhm...that's alright. I think we're okay without forming a squad.

[klutziness]

You sure? If you're into the heroing thing you could be a pretty awesome team.

[projectkr]

Yeah? But it'd be pretty sad if Wolf and I were the only ones on it.

[klutziness]

I'm sure there's gotta be at least one other person with an animal as a power.

[projectkr]

Maybe. But I still don't know if it would be a good team. People are supposed to be different to help compensate for another person's weakness.

[klutziness]

I think the animals would count as different. Like, their strengths and weaknesses aren't all gonna be the same, just like any person on a team.
