Then enlighten me. All I watch are sitcoms, the truest and most prime of entertainment available.

It's about human beings trapped in a simulation where their bioenergy is farmed for our robot overlords. They start to learn, escape, and fight back.

So it's a movie about video games and how they enslave the masses and degrade their brains? Very accurate.

People seem very keen to give their minds up to the robot overlords you brought up. Video games are made for the sad person who wants to waste their time unproductively, living in the life of a fictional character. To go on fake dates, or shoot people without consequence. Very sad.

Perhaps then I should switch my answer away, if that is what the Blue Pill represents. Fantasy and ignorance is sweet and wonderful, but in a certain flavor.

I would agree. At one time, I would say that it was a good distraction from...some of the worries of everyday life.

But then you open your eyes, and distractions are...inconvenient.

I believe the best distractions are the ones you weave into your life. It becomes part of the fabric of your very soul. What opens up your world.

When everyday life becomes the distraction, becomes the thing that tears your mind from the mundane, that is the perfect peak of living.

I know how that is. Sometimes you can even make the thing that distracts you -- the hobby, or the sport -- you can make it your life's work.

That's what I'm working on right now! I've done a lot of what I want to do in this dumb space shuttle I'm cooped up in. I wanna become a tv star y'know and appear on my own sitcom.

Reality television, as I have learned, is pretty boring actually. It's just a lot of parties and drama between dicks. The dick drama on this ship has been so fucking real.

I'm going to get on my own sitcom. I'll make it black and white like the old days when things were fucking good and I'll be a cute housewife.

Thanks! I have a great amount of respect for myself, and I'm glad you can see that. I'm going to be just like my idol Honey. I'll have a nuclear family, a cute theme song, and get into all kinds of misadventures.

Child will need to wait. Maybe until season 3 or 4. I have an entire plan built out for every season. If it works out I should be able to keep going well into 150 episodes.

It takes a certain mentality to favor the canned lifestyle and soulless devotion to the 50s aesthetic to be THAT into sitcoms.

I disagree. Sitcoms are a window into the life people wish to have. The perfect family, difficult problems solved in less than an hour, a laugh track for every joke and audience applause for every entrance. It's the purest expression of human desires.

And yet it's just another blue pill. Nothing like that is real.
