I know some of you are not human, and even the humans have extraordinary abilities! Ands so... I was wondering. If maybe someone's has some limbs they are willing to part with? Living, organic, non-native ones!

You see, I'm a doctor in the home dimension I came from, and work to develop pharmaceutical drugs! I'd love to do a little bit of science on imPorts to see if there is any non-nanomachine-based way to perhaps improve native abilities to heal.

[This is definitely not a thinly-veiled attempt to get his hands on non-human meat to see how it tastes and if he can even consume it.]

Doesn't need to be a limb, really. Any body part, preferably one you can easily replace.

Hmmm, I still think it might be worth a look though. Even on the severed part... There is a possibility of there being some need for brain activity to stimulate the regrowth, in which case an electrical current could be used on the limb to see if it will start to grow again.

[He is thoughtful about it. This doesn't necessarily ruin his idea to try some nonhuman meat, it just means it would be harder to convince someone to part with it.

Worst case scenario, he has to turn into a monster and take a part by force. That would really be a bummer.]

The more samples, the better. That is part of the scientific method! In addition, I cannot be stopped simply because people find it ungainly. Should I find a ready and willing subject, then I have no qualms doing something rather unpopular to others.

Learning is important.

Take a small sample! This begging for entire limbs will only make everyone nervous, and make it harder for other scientists to work. Most are already nervous enough!

I'm hardly begging for limbs, just asking to see if anyone has any spares! No one seems to, and everyone just assumes I'm going to come at them with a hack saw or something. Just tie them to a table and go at it like some kind of serial killer.
