Oh no, no it's simple, that's probably why its so dangerous.

So first what you'll need is enough of the same wooden chopsticks for everyone. Each of them has a number, and one of them has a colored base instead. You hide the numbers with a hand and everyone picks a chop stick.

Somebody already suggested booking a bar, so I guess that plus an actual bartender would work out pretty well.

I'm probably cruddy as dancing in general, but I don't think there any real saving that.

1, 2, and 5 are gonna depend on your event and the people it's for. If two of my friends had their birthdays coming up, I wouldn't throw them parties at the same place if they were into different things.

That's fair. I should've been more specific, but... I guess I thought general idea-fishing would be kind of fun.

It's the classic bachelor party/wedding combo. But, like... For lovingly lame people. (Of which I am one.)

I see you're already talking to my teacher, Yamada-sensei. I would trust whatever recommendations he gives you. He's something of a party expert.

The only one I can really help with is #4, and my advice is to make notes on what you would like to say ahead of time, and if possible, to memorize them. If you can't memorize them, then having some note cards with you would be fine.

That's definitely a good idea, especially keeping them as backup. I'm sure I can memorize it, but I'm probably going to go totally blank once I get up in front of people.

Congrats on having another home-worlder here, too. If that's something that you're happy to have, that is!
