They're okay with pets in the houses! i know people with dogs and cats and i have pigs and nobody's said anything. check with your housemates though that's the most important part i think

st. bernards kuvaszs newfies and mastiffs are all really strong big dogs!

and one of my friends with super strength has a wolf so thats an option

[He knows nothing beyond how to make them do what he wants them to do. Owning a wolf is almost cliche]

Can he handle wolves? I mean can they handle him?

What degree of "handling super strength" would you expect the dog to be capable of?

It's been my experience that the person in question is still learning how to control it? And they don't want to hurt the animal.

It would appear you've had some rather suitable suggestions given to you so far. Failing their being of any use, you might speak with Will Graham, the man who runs Hook, Line, & Tinker. I believe he is rather fond of dogs and he will be able to answer any of your breed related questions.

As far as pets and housing go, I do believe they are allowed, though I am certain checking with your housemates before bringing in any kind of new pet would be appreciated. Particularly in the event any sort of carrying on will be taking place.
