ok so anyone on here have advice on writing college essays?
i'm trying to get a head start before midterms and i'm just kinda
staring at the question blankly

Some students have a background or story that is so central to their identity that they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story.

That's what they want, isn't it? A story, to let them know what experiences you have under your belt. I think... okay, colleges aren't looking for just grades. They want people that will be successful not just academically, but they want people who will be well-rounded enough to succeed in other ways too.

That's what you have to prove.
