I'm sorry to ruin all of the pleasant news that's been shared recently, but this is important.

[this is quite a departure in tone from what people on the network usually hear from Jonathan - it's steely and solemn, no trace of the sunny young man chatting amiably about dogs and lost items.]

A week ago two imPorts were kidnapped by a man named Robert Jennings for the sole purpose of hunting them down like animals. [the disgust in his voice is barely contained] They were rescued and Mr. Jennings himself was apprehended - but a group called the Go Fors whose services he utilized is still operating.

They provided technology which made it possible to spirit the pair of them away without causing suspicion, as well as keep them trapped long enough to be hunted. There were at least six individuals involved; I can provide names and some other information to whoever would like it.

This can't be allowed to happen again. I'll do whatever I can to help anyone interested in taking this up as well, whether through more details or physical assistance, but...in the meantime, please be careful, everyone.

[there's no telling what else they might attempt before they're brought down.]

It was a bit strange at first, but I'm very grateful for the way things are now. This is my only chance to really keep up with everyone.

I haven't passed out yet! Considering how energetic we all are, I count that as a victory.

Really? Not even once? Nice. [ a beat, then a little thoughtfully: ] Who else here is yours, anyway?

[Jonathan puffs up proudly a little, both at the opportunity to keep talking about his family and because they were called his. it was such a heartening remark.]

Aside from Joseph there's my great great grandson Jotaro, my great grandson Josuke, my great great great granddaughter Jolyne, and my nephew Giorno.

[ She takes note of the names, but the one that interests her the most— ] Giorno? Is he Italian, or just named like it?

No, he was living in Italy. It seems we have a connection to that country for some reason.

[you can also totally do the Jojo nickname with Giorno's as well, but Jonathan refrains from mentioning it since he'd said he didn't care for it.]

[ Mental note, meet that guy. She was starting to think the Porter just didn't care for Italians, besides her. But also: ] A connection how?

[yes, Ramir. meet Giorno and learn that Jonathan's entire family is unwilling to disappoint him, including teenage gangsters running casinos.]

Mr. Zeppeli was from Italy, as is his grandson who became friends with Joseph later in life. Those are only the little things I know - it wouldn't surprise me if there were more.

she considers that, then shrugs. ] Makes sense. I mean, we do churn out the best kind of people. [ She grins, gestures to herself. ] Case in point.

As if I needed more proof of that! [he laughs teasingly] Although at this rate I'm a bit ashamed that I haven't visited yet. It isn't fair to force you all to come to me.

Uh, yeah. So plan a trip! I'll show you all the best parts. [ Which probably won't still be there... New York City was sort of a letdown, after all. Oh, except, wait: ] Are you registered?

I am, yes. [does she mean a trip here? maybe he should mention something...] But I don't think I'd be much help in getting around - I'm still not very good at driving.

[heavyhitter]

Please, like I'd let you drive. I bet you'd go on the wrong side of the road.

[ she says, like she's ever properly drive in Italy. whatever. ]

I don't really think that would be the biggest concern...

[it's not that difficult to figure out which side traffic is driving on, after all.]

What, or crash into and destroy ancient ruins? Yeah, I guess that would suck too.

I was thinking about parking, actually.

Parking? [ wait what. that gets a stare. ] Like... parallel parking?

[was the idea of him being able to drive in a straight line so inconceivable that she can't comprehend him being worried about parking instead?]

[ she stares a second longer, then snorts. ]

Oh, I can't do that. I just don't worry about it.

It seems rather important, though, from everything I've seen so far.

[heavyhitter]

Eh. [ She shrugs. ] You can put a car anywhere. If you're really worried about it, you could always get a big car and shove other cars out of spots.

...I think it would just be better if I practiced more.

[although considering the size of him maybe he should consider a large car if he ever manages to actually get a license...]

[heavyhitter]

I offer easy solutions, and what does he do? Ignores them! Perfectly good advice, out the window. [ That comes with a thick Italian accent, like she's mimicking someone she used to know. Back to her own voice: ] But seriously. If you start traveling, let me know.

I'd think you should know by now I rarely take the easy way. [he chuckles quietly]

I've been thinking of perhaps traveling for a time now, but I'm not entirely certain we'd enjoy seeing the same sights. Still, I'll be certain to inform you beforehand.
